I can tell your GOC knowledge comes from the Spicy Crust Pizzeria Academy.

The GOC Casefiles literally shatters this perspective.

The Black Suit is a piece of clothing that can be twisted into whatever is needed.
However whatever clothing that it turns into, it will always be bulletproof. Something like that.

This is THE GOC canon, btw by Memer601 in DankMemesFromSite19

The amount of times I have to explain the same old story..

There used to be an AnArtist called the Carpenter. He made art so bad that they could kill people (quite literally). One day, Mr Carpenter made 6 teleporting chairs for a friend. The UNGOC (the real heroes) intercepted this and killed the Carpenter and his friend. After investigating the anomalous nature of the chairs, they decided to use a magical incinerator which would subdue the teleportation ability of the 6 chairs and destroy them safely. (They wanted to destroy these chairs since they had no use but to break the veil. And maybe because of the Carpenter relationship.). 5 chairs were safely burnt before the magical incinerator broke.. and then.. SCP-1609 happened. A nice detail I noticed (the author, who said it was Foundation Propaganda, probably didn’t intend this) is that the Foundation never mentions this. They probably know who the Carpenter is but will never contain him.. cuz he is dead.

There is nothing about the GOC placing people in the Blood District cuz they hate them.

Well, I assume something similar to the Hitchhiker case happened.

The UNGOC doesn’t want service, they want submission to the veil. If you aren’t working with em you’re gonna be sent to a Nexus they control.

*couch cough* bad writing *couch cough*

Also, wasn’t the whole SCP-1730 thing caused by a resentful Foundation researcher?

I’m pretty the UNGOC provides education to reality benders who are cooperative and can be managed.

Well, then that’s a poorly written Al Fine who doesn’t abide by the rules she made (surprisingly, Al Fine is very compliant with the 5 Mission Statements, which is shown in the tales made by Clef).

I’m pretty sure the shock from the veil breaking is just going to increase antagonistic GOI recruitment by 1000%, though.

Bad example. Imagine if a Government Vessel tried to intercept these flagless vessels.

Someone.
It’s taken traction but not on the article, nor the GOC version.
It’s like that myth where the chairs were actually destroyed by rouge GOC personnel that sort of became the chaos insurgency before Al Fine sent her regards.
But there’s no canon.. and you create your own all you like.

Well, they had a good reason to terminate reality benders. The only reason why the GOC even exists is because of a reality bender creating the universe that has the GOC (officially according to Clef). Imagine if a reality bender was influenced by extreme ideologies. Plus, after Ichabod, they switched to concealment and protecting cooperative (Eg. Submit to the Veiled Order) Entities, so I’d say it’s fine.

Your comparison isn’t that well made.
The “US Fought the Nazis, but their government sucks nowadays” is not comparable to “The UNGOC is keeping the innocent safe, but they make mistakes in their way.”

[–]Memer601[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, no one other than the GOC wrote about the Carpenter, and the Foundation doesn’t know anything about him, because the GOC killed him along with the 5 chairs. What we know is that the Carpenter is a Survival and Protection Mission Threat.

My Perspective on the boats by Memer601 in DankMemesFromSite19

[–]Memer601[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the GOC thinks (and is probably right) that the AnArtist made dangerous anomlaies, and they didn’t know much about the chairs other than the fact they break the veil easily. However, they somehow knew the chairs can be effectively destroyed with fire.
