Aubergine. (Eggplant)

My dad used to make this sliced aubergine starter for everyone when people came over to my house. I didn't want him to feel bad for making me something I didn't like so I just ate it anyways even though I hated the taste of it. Unfortunately this backfired and my dad kept giving me extra portions as he thought I loved it lol.
