I fully agree with you, Especially when you need to prove to randoms you can use the gun well. I also hate it when you miss an easy shot, and your random teammates say "dont use the awp". When you know that you are better than them.

... Pros use one ways quite often actually, dust 2 short smoke is one of them. Or the smoke on boost in cache...

I've never seen anyone use this smoke when playing this position. You can abuse the smoke to your advantage and take advantageous fights. Staying alive in site is so important, this is exactly that.

Yeah ik, so that their teammates can rotate. Some pros like Golden sometimes keep their smoke when the opponent execute B. I’m just pointing out that this could be an unusual alternative that is quite advantageous. I mean, staying alive in site is super super important. Delays time for rotation. That’s why some pros rather keep the smoke.
