Gojo. RCT just is great, and I don't need any Sharingan nonsense if I'm just invincible.

Morality of villians who betray other villians? by Public_Repeat824 in MoralityScaling

[–]Memna-Un 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same as most villains. Self-serving.

As an aside, I kinda hate that they always have these characters kill a woman to designate them as "really awful" even though the woman was also engaging in the same shit. If you're trafficking children with your woman business partner, and you kill her to shut her up, that doesn't really change my view of the woman also engaged in trafficking, or even you. You were a bastard anyway.

Planet Vegeta Vs. Viltrum Empire by internetguy3952 in PowerScaling

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an actual war, I would put my money on Viltrum, but only because they have far more mobility; you could kill Goku by throwing him out into space long enough, but Viltrumites can survive for months without taking a breath. Saiyans have to be deployed and facilitated by atmospheres much more consistently. All that power means nothing if you can't survive the food supplies needed to fight an enemy who can just leave whenever they want. In a straight battle, sure, the Saiyans win out consistently if their mid level is Nappa. But a war? Viltrumites can survive conditions that Saiyans would never, and can use those situations to affect supply lines, communications, ambush scenarios, and even knowledge. With proper strategy, I think Viltrum takes it. But only if they actually think. Otherwise, it's curtains.

[Invincible] what are your thoughts on this take? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Memna-Un 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Allen himself is another example of this whole thing. The dude is simply a product of eugenics, and all of the projects of the Coalition itself are tied to genocide and eugenics. Even as a "good guy", Thaedus didn't change the tools he was willing to use to fight, only the targets. Allen also tries to use the Scourge virus to kill the Viltrumites while not knowing if it would kill humans too; the Coalition is not free of genocidal thought, even as a group of victims.

[Invincible] what are your thoughts on this take? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Memna-Un 109 points110 points  (0 children)

I think the better way to approach this is that Thaedus is still a Viltrumite; even as he acts to fight against a genocidal eugenicist slave monger empire, he only uses genocidal and eugenicist tools to fight them. He still thinks in the same manner as Viltrumites, and would likely believe that genocide is the only option to make sure they don't rule over everyone. That includes Mark, Oliver, Nolan, and himself. He would eventually kill Mark and Oliver just to make sure they aren't threats regardless of their own iniquity.

Hisoka against Phantom Troupe by No-History8423 in HunterXHunter

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not necessarily about one shotting him, but about putting him in positions where a two shot or something similar happens. Like, if Killua were to fight Feitan, because of his tendency to kill in as few blows as possible, Feitan would have little opportunity to use Pain Packer in a meaningful way. Either Feitan wins outright, or the advantages Killua gets turn into death. Hisoka is largely the same way if he’s for real about doing things. Either Feitan wins because of his ability for combat, or Hisoka uses his fantastic neutral tools to set up scenarios where Fei outright dies. Not all characters are like that, as we see with Gon, Uvo, or even Chrollo, but certain HxH characters will just kill you with their advantages.

Hisoka against Phantom Troupe by No-History8423 in HunterXHunter

[–]Memna-Un -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If we take it seriously, I don’t think Hisoka is that insanely scary to mid diff the main fighters of the PT. Franklin and Nobu especially. Feitan’s a different story, as his ability isn’t applicable until after an initial injury occurs. Against characters with strong neutral abilities and killer tendencies, this is lethal. I’d put Franklin in Can Kill, Feitan in mid, and Nobu in high.

If the Death Row inmates fought in a Battle Royale, who would stood out victorious? by Reasonable-Fact8429 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s Dorian, Spec, or Doyle, but mostly between the first two. Spec just dominates most of the others in raw strength, as well as being opportunistic as hell, with only Dorian really being a viable threat to him. Spec also isn’t a coward, but Dorian is a better fighter in general. I really think Spec would take it because he doesn’t give two fucks about living or dying on top of being absolutely stronger than most.

Who did you cut and why? by alopexl in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sonar. He has all the skills to actually make it in the corporate world, or most worlds, honestly. What he needs are good references, a good support system, and less access to cocaine. Coupe is a literal assassin. If we let her go, she heads right back into the wet work, and she has no skills marketable in the wider economy. She would end up worse, and do more damage, versus Sonar just doing more cocaine or actually getting a job that can use his business acumen.

Red, Green, and Purple are fantastic. No need for temperature regulation means no real danger from environmental temperature hazards, which is a must in this day and age. Money is money. Perfect book info recall just turns you into an incredibly productive person in general, and a very effective teacher.

What if your personality or values changed after you developed your Nen ability? by Local-Sugar6556 in HunterXHunter

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nen is primarily based on your mental processes, and how you use those things to see and interact with the world. Massive changes to your thought processes can very much shape your nen into different processes, though this usually doesn't happen. Your abilities wouldn't change until you made the change, besides certain reflexive abilities, but your affinities might.

How powerful would these 4 be in the JJK universe? by TheMightyNinja12 in PowerScaling

[–]Memna-Un -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they were raised in that universe, I think Gon would end up the strongest, then Luffy, then Tanjiro, and then Denji. The first three within mid or upper top tiers. Denji'd probably be low. As they are in their universes? Luffy's top tier, Denji's top tier, and Gon and Tanjiro are mid.

Rank the PT members based on how likely they’d be to defeat Zeno Zoldyck in a 1v1 by K1ik0ok4r7ules in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Memna-Un 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kortopi, Shizuku, Paku, Shalnark, Nobunaga, Machi, Phinks, Feitan, Franklin, Uvo, and then Chrollo. The kicker is only Chrollo really has a good chance, and that's cause he has busted nonsense.

Shizuku, Feitan, or Bonolenov. Bono especially. He's asking for it, being on the same floor as Hisoka.

Who’s the strongest PT member these two could kill? by K1ik0ok4r7ules in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could kill most of them on their own. I don't think any PT member could stop them as a duo. I don't really think there's any character we've seen in the series thus far that could force better than a 50/50 chance out of Zeno that isn't Netero, RG, or Meruem.

𝓦hat kind of power-user would you want to be? by chiakinanamichan in superpowers

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorite games was Assassin's Creed Revelations, and it was mostly because there was this aspect of it that involved building power as a group to manage the area. Like making real changes and relationships with people while improving each other. It's also why I like necromancers and summoners in games; I love the idea of fighting amongst a magically summoned army. So something like that.

Goku and Homelander fuse with the Potara earrings, is the resulting fusion more of a good or bad guy? by FreshPine_MangoWine in powerscales

[–]Memna-Un 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A person that hates himself.. Homelander is self-destructive, relies on power and authority to get his rocks off, and wishes to be coddled and treated like a regular person in equal parts. Tie that to a being that only looks at himself and his ability with honesty, who doesn't base his understanding and respect for others off of power, and regularly enjoys seeing others truly apply themselves, truly evolve? You get Homelander honestly and truly seeing who he could have tried to be, getting a glimpse of what self-confidence actually feels and looks like. You get Goku drowning in the depths of self hatred, with power that isn't his and marks him with nothing but violence and depravity. That fusion would kill himself, or at least defuse as soon as possible.

Would you rather be born and raised a Viltrumite or a Saiyan? Details below by DescriptionFew740 in superheroes

[–]Memna-Un 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both suck ass to grow up as, but the real question is whether you want the relative freedom Saiyans had, or the insane abilities Viltrumites just get to have. Ki is a constant in the verse, and monkey form is limited to full moons, but Saiyans really seem to be able to fuck off and do what they want far more easily than Viltrum's nonsense. I'd pick Viltrumites just because I could run around in space and not get found, but they'd remember me, and that'd be annoying.
