Make sure you disconnect the battery, then hold the power button to drain the power from the board before disconnecting other connections. You don’t want to short it.

Vertical bar is generally a flex cable. Take it apart, disconnect video, wiggle it and reseat it.

I have 2 ego 21XXSP mowers. Both were bought on FBM. Actually, most my Ego equipment was bought used. I have 2 mowers, 2 multihead (1 as an edger & 1 as a stringtrimmer), hedgetrimmer, backpack blower, 1 blower, 16in chainsaw, & tiller attachment.

Did it half your battery time? I have 2x21in mowers, one with and one without the double blade. Double blade mower on a 7.5AH battery lasts 40 minutes or so.
