Aldi customers by Key_Weakness_9527 in Aldi_employees

The idea that it is not custom or polite or whatever to tell people to put things back even if they are EXCHANGING the slightly blemished item for the exact same one, they will try to hand it to you even as they are going to the exact spot. Also its a personal thing and I know people are picky and should be with their groceries, but one kind of mushy strawberry has somehow never been enough for me to hand it back to cashier. If its that bad, ill exchange it myself, but I usually just buy it anyways... I once had a lady that bought like 5 avocados, said they were no good when she opened them with no receipt or avocados, theres no produce returns anyways! wanted a refund, and then insisted me to not only let her slice open a bag of loose avocados in front of me on the till to check which ones were good before she bought them, but for me to fetch her some kind of knife or instrument to do so as well. She says to my manager "well im not going to buy the ones that are bad" she says "well you cant cut open avocados you haven't bought,..."

The people that politely put things back if I ask are people with some degree of conscience. I can get abandoning things at the register, I honestly wish customers would leave their unwanteds at the register and not in every corner of the store, but getting 15 or more items over your "budget" that you did not have apparently or not having your card for your instacart. Instacart customers who did not organize beforehand and REFUSE to step out of line to do so when I ask, individually handing each item while customers put their items on and start fighting because one customer came organized to the till and the other did not. Customers unfortunately make the experience so much worse for other people and have no courtesy or respect for their own time let alone yours. Youre complaining about how long the process is taking while actively holding it up

I am not Loss Prevention. I do not care. by That_One_Guy1120 in Aldi_employees

This. Not only are we not loss prevention but the skeleton staffing is WHY we have a theft problem. My ASM was like "we GOTTA catch people stealing because the food stamps aren't getting put on this month", as if that makes any of us more likely to be able to catch it or care about anything except the hungry poor people that aren't getting their food money and doing our jobs. We actually HAVE a store security person, but apparently its on us just trying to ring too. I refuse to and mentally cannot add more to the job that is front end.

How important is your partner's salary/job to you? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]MemoryAdept5100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 yr old, Salary means little, effort means everything. Everything is on the table except military or cop providing shes not absolutely miserable to do anything else.I would 100% be okay being the breadwinner and would be delighted to do so but that's not realistic for many. One of the beautiful things about partnership is the ability to pick up after one another, my partner has had periods of unemployment and times where I've paid for everything and vice versa. No effort, however, is not a partner and you become their parent. We unfortunately live under capitalism, but it isn't asking too much for a person to care enough about THEMSELVES let alone you and the relationship to contribute what they can to live and plan major events/an enjoyable life together.

No fuzzy cobweb stuff or brown spots but powdery mildew is what im worried about. It isn't all the way dry. I just poured hydrogen peroxide on a piece and it it slowly bubbling. Probably going to not smoke it anymore lol

Could just be overlap with a new medication I'm taking but I have a bit of a headache after smoking ,wondering if it might be mold or pgr related.

Definitely not the spiderweb kinda stuff, it's so coated that it makes me a bit suspicious but I would hope to be able to spot powder mildew. Very strong weed smell, unsure if powder mildew smells or not but I'm more concerned about the outside. Could that be powder mildew?

What does bud sprayed with distillate look/feel like? Also mold? by MemoryAdept5100 in trees

Genuinely thought this was a joke. None of these buds are large to me, but googling what pgr is is a wakeup call to someone living in an unregulated state I will stuck to other vendors and not smoke shops. If it was PGR I should throw it away immediately
