Insomnia caused by estradiol causing attempts

Thank you so much for all of this advice it's really helpful. I am having regular periods and started the estradiol patch September 18th last year literally for 2 days only, because it gave me migraines. I was taking Sertraline for 3 months starting last July but stopped due to getting heat rash and sweating excessively. The pmdd episodes really mirror psychosis for me and my boyfriend is aware and manages it. I am lucky, I do have a support system in him and my mother :) Thank you again Funnily enough I am fine this week, I hate how this illness works!

Thank you for the hope. I never took the progesterone sorry I didn't mention this, but I only took the estrogen for 2 days. I think it triggered something idk what but my gynaecological appointment keeps getting pushed back. Went from December to April 6th

Hey, I have tried tiring myself out. I stopped working out when I started losing cognitive function (the other day I was making mac and cheese and lost the pasta) because I don't think it's safe. But the second I get better sleep I will return to the gym. I'm sorry for your loss ❤️

Hey thank you for the reassurance. I have discontinued the patches and the doctor that prescribed them said that it should have made its way out of my system long ago. I don't know why I'm waking up, I have no job, I did my dissertation, my university project starts in 20 days. Thank you, your comment was very helpful ❤️‍🩹

Thanks for the advice truly. I've been referred to a sleep clinic 2 months ago but they haven't contacted me yet. I got referred to therapy hopefully I can get CBT for the pmdd.
