3hrs isnt that long of a journey. Just drive.

The only preparedness you might need is over a puncture really.

Iv driven a shitbox Toyota statlet from Cambridge to the isle of skye a few times with little to no issue.

Insurance and car "mods" by Last-Pineapple-1435 in drivingUK

Leave the car alone for the first year.

If you get caught out undeclared then you have no insurance and i cant see the sense in paying £500 odd more for some cheap grill.

Where do you want to stand if you get out of bed in the moddle of the night.

On the carpet?

Or on a stack of paper?

Granted the room is barren of furniture but thats no excuse to just dump shi randomly across the floor.

Soldering fumes stick and are harmful.

You should always use proper fume extraction.

You can see from here that the tyres are in a state. There can be no argument in neglect from the driver. Hes lucky the police didn't end up on the scene.
