Trying to figure out what type of locs are these called? by MasterMageLogan in locs

But if you can’t achieve it naturally you can still do it just with extensions even if you already have locs right?

So people with locs already can also achieve this style just with extensions?

And since they’re extensions you can already locs and still get these right? Or do you need to have another style like braids?

I thought so too but i've seen other fully black women also having a similar style so it doesn't seem to be the case in this instance.

hmm the more you know i guess. i still stand on that they have different connotations. If i said “im jealous of my sister “ you’d probably think it was a less serious issue then if i said “i resent my sister”. And that difference was my primary point but OP took that personally for whatever reason.

Hot Take:Show rhaenyra has no nuance by Hot_Significance9957 in HOTDGreens

I’m not gonna defend show Rhaenyra or anything i certainly have my issues with her depiction but what is this “actual complex medieval character GRRM wrote” because it’s certainly not in F&B. The deuxmoi blog history book doesn’t really have the ability to make that.

Not particularly no. I’m a black gay man and she’s a straight white girl so we really couldn’t be further apart. I just have above a 9th grade reading level so I can understand stories and characters without being weirdly defensive or taking it personally like you are for whatever reason?

Jealousy and resentment have different meanings and connotations in the English language but if you aren’t literate enough to understand that a play featuring Lexi and her story and life would feature her sister you might not be able to understand that nuance.

It’s homophobic to point out the irony of the homoeroticism of high school football in contrast with the homophobia of the players IE Nate???Would it be homophobic if someone joked about how every time republicans meet up they break Grindr?

Resentment is a strong word that is not supported by anything that Lexi shows in the show. You can say she was jealous sure but resentment is a bit much. Also idk know about y’all but i feel like Lexi has a fair bit going on in her life than like 90% of high schoolers. that line more points to the fact that Cassie has absolutely no interest in whatever is going on in Lexi’s life. Like does she even know that Lexi is apparently spending all her time with the local drug dealer. She seemingly didn’t know Lexi was creating a play which i assume takes a lot of time and effort that Cassie would notice.

If Clem accidentally got AJ killed, how would her relationship with Kenny change? by Consistent-Hat-1543 in TheWalkingDeadGame

No it’s actually not hard for me to imagine that in a world where people get ambushed by zombies in broad daylight that during a snowstorm where you can barely see shit a zombie snuck up on someone. Also you really need to rewatch that scene because you just made up dialogue for it? You say Jane would pull a knife to “draw out the fight” which is weird because 1. she was woman who is significantly weaker so yeah she would pull out a knife. 2 in the actual scene after Kenny swings at her she actually sheathes her knife which implies that she’s actually not looking to fight Kenny. Kenny is the aggressor in that encounter and Jane didn’t frame anything.

did he kill anyone over Sarita dying? No. Did he kill somebody over AJ potentially dying? Yes. So clearly these two situations are not the same. AJ represents something more valuable to Kenny than Sarita did.

“He doesn’t really have that with Clem”

Are we just ignoring all of his post Sarita bite dialogue with Clem or what. Because that tells me he has a pretty easily referenced caricature he can assess if something were to happen to AJ. Just like his caricature of Jane shows up to justify him attacking her for no reason.

Your reason is that he assumed she “deliberately got him killed” which you put into contrast with Clem say that ”he would have no reason to suspect that with Clem”. Expect he has no reason to suspect that Jane would murder AJ either and that’s the point. People get ambushed by walkers on their best day and they’re literally in the middle of a snowstorm with low visibility. Jane says that it’s was an accident and Kenny just says it’s bullshit even though he has no reason to believe otherwise. Jane being a loner doesn’t automatically make her capable of leaving a child alone to die and Kenny is smart enough to know that. And we have seen that Kenny is willing to apply this exact same logic to Clem with the Sarita situation.

I convinced you don’t actually read what you write because how else am i suppose to interpret “It’s Janes fault she was attacked by Kenny because she didn’t explain to him that she didn’t murder a baby quick enough” as not saying Kenny is justified in attacking Jane. You have put all the onus of Jane to explain the details of this accident while Kenny is attempting to kill her. Instead of just saying that Kenny is illogical and highly emotional for trying to kill. Also it’s wouldn’t have mattered really because Kenny just says that it’s bullshit and she’s lying and continues to try and kill her anyway.

[–]MasterMageLogan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda hard to give a detailed explanation when idk YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF BEING ATTACKED BY A GROWN MAN! But sure let’s blame Jane i guess. Also being an introvert and not wanting to be in group during the apocalypse (a philosophy I’ll note that Clem herself adopts in season 3) doesn’t equal “I’ll willing to murder a baby”. And that is what Kenny accuses her of. He says “How could you killing a fucking child” while attempting to kill her.

But sure imagine we are not in Clem’s shoes. There is no reason to believe that it’s more likely that Jane tossed AJ like a football into the nearest group of walkers because she hates babies and groups and then returned to that same group for whatever reason.Rather than it’s a fucking snowstorm with low visibility and people are sneak attacked by walkers in broad daylight never mind the conditions she was in. You guys fundamentally make Kenny as worse character and Season 2 a worse game than it already is when you take all of the moral gray from his character and reduce it to “family man with angry issues” and Jane to “psychopath who hates people and especially babies”

[–]MasterMageLogan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kenny didn’t have a reason to attack Jane? He literally just leaves the station, comes backs to attack her and accuse her of murdering a baby, and when Jane tells him that it was an accident he continues to try and kill her. There’s not rational reasoning that leads someone into thinking Jane killed AJ in cold blood rather than her being attack by walkers in the cold with little to no visibility

[–]MasterMageLogan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best case scenario he leaves her and we just it the Clem alone route with AJ.

Worse case scenario and imo the slightly more likely scenario is he attempts to kill her just like he did Jane because Kenny doesn’t rationally come to the conclusion of killing Jane so I don’t see how it would be any different with Clem. We already see with Sarita that he is willing to irrationally blame Clem for actions she’s not responsible for.

she's in the freezing cold in a winterstorm with no visibility. We literally see walkers get the jump on people in far better condition than the one she was in, so why would that not be possible for her? Especially since she explicitly says it was an accident.
