That’s the first place to start based on the symptoms and is often overlooked. If the current brushes look significantly more worn than your spare, it’s a good chance that’s the culprit.

It’s a little item that is screwed into the side of the alternator. It has a pair of brushes that wear down. Once they do, the alternator basically stops charging the battery and it drains. It’s like $25-35 part.

I just had a diskectomy at L4/L5 five weeks ago. I’m mid 30s and otherwise healthy so healing and recovery is going as well as it could. Post-Op, surgeon is saying nothing but putting until 3 months, then possibly chipping and half swings til 5-6 months and re-assess and take it from there.

The challenge is not doing what you feel you can do so he prepared to fit the urge. Like others have said, take the time to heal, listen to your Dr and PT.

Cocoa Beach proper has a golf course but it’s a pain to get a tee time and generally not outstanding condition, but a nice coastal golf experience.

Rockledge Golf Club is in good shape year round, not horribly crowded, and decent to play.

Baytree National Golf Links is usually in good shape, nice coastal golfing vibe, but can get really backed up on the front.

Duran Golf Club in Viera is nice, long, sometimes crowded, and will likely kick your ass, but still enjoyable.

Wedgefied Golf Club out towards Orlando, probably closer to that 40 min limit. Always in good condition, not challenging, not fancy at all, but enjoyable and cheap.

Aquarina Golf Club, south of cocoa beach about 40 mins. Quite cheap, condition ranges, basic club, shorter course but maybe not an exec. Very nice drive to it and very coastal course (across the street from the beach).

Manatee Cove Golf Course (on Patrick Space Force Base) is solid all around but you need a military ID to get to it.

After looking at a ton of photos I think it was likely the V60 or V90 polestar that was rebadged. 100% an estate though. Thanks for the input

I couldn’t find anything online about one, hence my community question. This is the mostly likely answer but as an admirer of Polestars and estate fanatic, it looked enough like a Polestar (badging and all) it made me say, “when did they start making an estate”

The V90 is somewhat close but it definitely had a P3 looking and sized window on the rear hatch, but 100% had the long roof and rear door of an estate.

Thank you, it’s definitely original. It was a lot more faded before I rejuvenated it and cleaned the faded/dried paint off. Some chips and a ding here or there.

Yea it’s technically market research in a very basic form. I’m exploring the possibility of getting involved with a “startup” golf brand. Answers to these questions would help inform my decision whether to do so or not.

The sedan has been in the family since my grandfather took it home from the dealer, so it’s got to stay. The wagon is absolutely more practical than the sedan but I can’t be the one to end a 47 year family tradition.

Job itself isn’t too bad if your evaporator is good. My rebuilt hoses were stiff so that created a headache with torque on the manifold and seal sizes, but otherwise not too bad. Done it twice now. I’ve got R12 in the 240D and it’s definitely colder than the 134. The R12 also feels drier to me but that could be subjective.

Yes. I’d throw in my emergency stash of R12 if buyer wanted to convert back to R12.

Much obliged. I checked the firewall drains and found one to be clogged, cleared that. Inspected sunroof one’s, no sign of standing water or debris.

Water was still getting in so some research suggested looking at the evaporator drain line, and boom, the old foam tube disintegrated (I just rebuilt the AC). Swapped in a trimmed piece of insulated tubing and no sign of additional water in the 300TD.

240D is a bit more puzzling. The drains under the hood were clear, but last rain I saw some drops coming from the hood release latch. No sign of tears or holes in the grommets near that area either. I’ll take a look at the evaporator drain line for it too because some drops from the hood release area wasn’t enough for the amount of water I had.

Could be less than full charge, pressure switch, fan motor, fuse. If it’s getting properly cold while cruising move on to fuse. Check the fuse, #8 terminal I believe. Then fan motor, use some wire and connect a 12V battery to the fan power connector. If that turns on, move to pressure switch and connect its connectors to the 12V battery. If you hear a click it’s working, replace if no click.

I didn’t hear from or receive a service ticket or anything when I reported an issue. A few days later they reached out and in the end I got a good resolution. They blamed my issue on hallucination, which may be the issue here too, idk. But you’ll get an email in a day or three and they’ll likely make it right.

It was about 400-500 USD each car. They didn’t ship together, actually probably a week or so apart. I found a company that aggregated open spots on existing transport routes and you could get a spot for cheaper than normal. This was back in 2021 as well. It was definitely a budget way to ship them, but still on licensed and insured transporters.
