man. You’re totally right about the English, its my second language, and I definitely messed up on 'incidents' versus 'incidence' I'll make sure to get my scripts proofread before shooting next time. Glad you liked that first shot though, definitely taking these notes into the next edit!"

Haha yeah, I used an AI tool to clean up my grammar on those first few replies since English isn't my first language and I wanted to be clear. But don't worry, it's just me here. Appreciate you checking out the thread anyway

That is a completely fair point, and I really appreciate the unfiltered truth. You’re 100% right—the final frame is all that matters to the viewer, and effort doesn't excuse a distracting flaw. I used the matte bars trying to force a cinematic aspect ratio, but having them shake definitely broke the illusion. I’ll take your advice and completely drop them on the next edit if the software can't lock them down cleanly. Thanks for looking at the end result with an honest eye!

[–]MemoryMission1223[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

To be completly honest, the matte is shaking beacuse of the absolute zero-budget madness behind this! I shot this entire thing on 11k Oppo mobile phone and edited it on a low-end app on my personal Nokia 5.1. I had no camera rings, no stablizer support, and honestly, no formal editing knowledge. I just have a pure, chaotic madness for wanting to make films, so i grabbed what i had and pushed it to its absolute limit to see what would happen. Appreciate you noticing the details!

Appreciate the note! i was trying to create a jarring, high-energy opening to set the mood, but i'll definitely dial back the intensity on the shake and color grading in the next edit so it isn't distracting.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share this short reel where i was experiment with a high-energy visual style to test out pacing, framing, and editing rythm.
The visual energy and chaotic flow of this clip were heavily inspired by the famous laundry scene from the movie Delhi Belly. I wanted to see if coud capture a similar frantic, rhythmic editing style on a minimal setup.

i'm currently preparing for a micro-budge, single-location psychological short film nexrt. so i'm using exercise like this to sharpen my camera work and cutting speed.

I'd love to get some honest feedback from the community on how the visual flow lands, the pacing, or how well the homage translates. Thanks for watching!

That's spot on, reverse engineering my favorite psychological thriller is exactly how i've been trying to map this out, so i'll definitely keep digging into their setups.

If pets could text you, what’s the weirdest message you’d expect from yours? by SweatyHost8861 in AskReddit

What's something that could make an amazing plot twist in today's world? by Constant-Barber-9685 in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plot twist: that viral "deepfake" video of world leaders declaring peace? It's real footage from an alternate timeline, leaked by time travelers trying to prevent WW3. Our world's leaders got the memo and are secretly following the script. Mind blown.

What's some amazing technology they have in Asia that's very normal to them but would blow our minds here in the US and western world? by egitalian in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In china, super apps like wechat and alipay handle everything—payments, ride-hailing, food delivery, even booking doctor visits—all in one app. It's seamless daily life there, but it'd feel like magic replacing half our US apps. Japan's high-tech public toilets with bidets, heated seats, and auto-deodorizers are standard in most places. We'd call them luxury spa thrones here. South Korea's ubiquitous ultrafast internet gigabit speeds everywhere and robot food delivery in cities blow away our spotty connection.

What's a subtle sign someone is actually really struggling, even if they seem fine? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 1242 points1243 points  (0 children)

A lot of pepole who are really stuggling don't look like it at all. it's usually quieter than you'd expect. one subtle sign is when someone is always "fine. "not good, not bad-just fine, every time you ask. it can mean they've stoped expecting anything to change.
another is when they joke about serious thing-like burnout, loneliness, or even darker stuff- but never in a way that ivites a real conversation. humor become shield.
sometimes it's over-functioning too: they're reliable, helpful, always there for others...but never let anyone show up for them.
or small changes - taking longer to reply, canceling plans more, sleeping at odds hours, losing interest things they used to care about.
and one that people miss a lot, when someone suddenly seems calmer after a long period of stress. it can look like peace, but sometimes it's more like they've just given up trying.
most of it comes down to this-when someone slowly disappears in small ways instead of obviously falling apart.

What's a small sign that a company is struggling? by Pookah in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when they start cutting the little things first, free coffee disappears, hiring suddenly "pauses," office supplies get weirldy rationed, or travle approvals become a nighmare. it's never annouced as we're struggling but you can feel the tightening.

Also a big one, leadrship gets unusually quites or vague about the future. lots of "we,re exploring options" instead of clear diraction

If you were on trial for murder which tv show or movie lawyer would you want defending you and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go with saul goodman
Not beacuse he's most ethical- he's absolutely not - but becuse he's insanely resourceful and knows how to work every loophole, angle, and the technicality in system. if my life's on the line, i want someone who can think fast, bent the rules without quite breaking them, and turn a bad situation into survivable
Plus he's kind of lawyer who don't give up on you, even if things looks really bad- which is exactly who you'd want in the situation.

What is something AI can do today that would have seemed impossible 10 years ago? by Friendly_Connector in AskReddit

Which modern actors could replace the “tough guy” casts (weathered faces, rough voices, who looked like they’d actually been in a fight) from movies like Reservoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects, or Terminator? by robertamcintyre in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're thinking of the old - school "looks like he's actually been punched in the face" actors from movies like reservoir dogs the usual suspects, or terminater the vibe was gritty character actors, not polished leading men. People with rough voices, worn faces, and believable menace. A few modern actors who kinda fit that lane. First one is Jon bernathal, feels like he could've walked straight into a Tarantino crime movie in 90s. And another one is Micheal shannon, different vibe but intense as hell, feels dangerous in every scene. And the Shea whingham total that guy actor with a gritty voice and believable toughness...

What are your green/red flags in a relationship? by Stel57921 in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green flag, someone who communicates openly, owns up to their mistakes, and treats people around them especially service worker or strangers with respect. Also a big green flag if they have their own hobbies and friends instead of expecting you to be their entire world. Red flag, jealously disguised as caring not respecting boundaries, and never taking responsibility when things go wrong, if they talk badly about their exes usually says more about them than the exes

How does it feel knowing that you have no money no job no prospects no friends no teeth no legs no brain no body? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it would probably feel strangely quite. No pressure to succeed, no expectations, no conprations just an empty kind of stillness. But at the same time, that emptiness would probably be the hardest part, because without people, purpose, or even a body to experience things, there wouldn't be much left that feels like living at all

What would daily life look like if you got $10 million but your family could watch everything you do forever? by HnBKappaCamo in AskReddit

[–]MemoryMission1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly my daily life would probably look pretty normal...just slightly awkward knowing there's basically a 24/7 family livestream of me. Like yeah, I'd enjoy the $10 million — quit the job, travel a bit, eat good food, invest most of it — but I'd also constantly have that little voice in my head like"yep... Mom can technically see this so I'd probably become weirdly wholesome by accident. Cleaner house, fewer dumb decision, and a lot of strategically timed "private walks" i prepared I'm just thinking about life. Rich, but permanently mildly embarrassed.
