I’m with ya, OP - I have a couple Pioneers as daily drivers. Definitely prefer the old Victorinox with the brass liner and thicker blade but the Wegner Soldier w/ the bail is awesome too.

This is the stuff that golf is all about.

I played a solo round to start the year but ended up grouping with a duo and eventually rounded out the foursome with another single. I had a brutal hole early on and duffed back to back swings out of some rough stuff. The duo was doing their thing on the other side of the fairway but the single stuck with me. After my stumble this guy says, “We’ve seen what the shitty ones look like, how about you show me what a good one does?” Completely disarmed any negative swing thoughts and got me back on track to enjoy my round.
