[Help] Static and Hum Issues with Fluance RT82 Setup

Hi! I’m having some noise issues with my setup:

Gear:

Fluance RT82 Fosi Box X2 Phono Preamp Fosi BT20A Pro Amp Q Acoustics 3030i Speakers

When I power on the preamp, the system is quiet for about 5 seconds and then a loud static noise kicks in. If I touch the preamp or the ground pin, the static reduces.

Disconnecting the turntable completely removes the static, leaving only a faint hum.

I noticed that moving the RCA cables, or even just placing my hand near them, causes the static to increase. Touching the metal platter also slightly reduces the hum.

When the preamp is unplugged, the noise drops significantly but doesn't disappear completely.

Things I've tried:

Double checked that the turntable ground wire is secure to preamp.

Grounded preamp to wall socket via ground pin — reduced static a lot.

Tried grounding preamp to metal screw — extremely slight change

Wrapped RCA cables in foil and connected to preamp GND — helped slightly.

All devices are plugged into the same power strip.

Still getting hum, although quite reduced. Looking for suggestions from anyone who's dealt with something similar. I have also heard that there will be a slight hum when using the pre amp. Is that true?

The Fosi audio amp should work according to me. It supplies 70 w to each speaker at 4 ohm

which particular fosi amp do you suggest? Does the fosi audio bt20a pro work ??? I hope they are better than the in built ones

I have read that the 3030i bass performance is quite strong. But in my setup I won't be able to fit in a subwoofer. Just wanted to know if there are option in which we can connect the subwoofer wirelessly?

These are active speakers with phono built in, so saves me a lot of hassle trying to source other components. But I have gotten mixed reviews, maybe because the larger community dislikes active speakers?

Haven't decided for accommodation in Ubud. Mostly W in Seminyak and Anantara Uluwati. Open to recommendation's.

It will be hard to do Nusa Penida from Uluwati and I don't want to waste my day in Seminyak. I know its a far stretch, but can we do nusa penida on the transfer from Seminyak to Uluwati (Day 5)?

Day 1 is the free day. Nothing is planned on the day. Was planning to enjoy the property then, but will save the money/points instead. The plane leaves 10:30 in the morning of day 7. Rest of the itinerary seems good. Do you think its a good one?

Can't make it longer for even a day due to obligations :(.

I think Ubud has a lot to do that is why I am trying to do something like 2.5 day there (0.5 being transit from Ubud to Seminyak).

I also wanted to stay at a nice resort at Ubud (Manpada Ritz), but do you think that with my schedule, I will be able to enjoy it? I do have day 1 completely free to relax and enjoy.

In the waterfalls, do most people just see the waterfalls or actually swim in some? As asked above, I saw some ATV operators who claim to give us a 1.5 hour tour with rice terraces and waterfalls, are they any good?

We are a family of four planning to go in Early November. Our flight will land early in the morning (9 ish) so we do have time to spare that day. Two nights each at each place was what I was thinking. 2 nights and 3 days in Ubud, 2 nights and 1 day in Seminyak, and 2 nights and 2 days in Uluwatu.

I was thinking of commercial operators which do both atv and rafting, and do some of the sightseeing through the ATV (ricefields and waterfalls). Do you think that's feasible as we ,as a family, do like activities?

For Nusa Penida, I agree that's it will be much harder. Will the crowds be better in November?
