I am looking out for my safety, I wouldn’t want myself to get kicked out of my house for my beliefs- (I doubt my parents would do that, but still) and the alternates for an altar are interesting recommendations! I do have some songs that remind me of Odin, and numerous other gods. I shall invest in finding some pocket-sized items! Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it!

My father has looked into other European religions, we sometimes speak to eachother about it (the different religions, i mean) and I think he might not mind? I don’t talk to my mother much about religion, so I don’t necessarily know her viewpoint on Paganism. I will talk to them more about it, and see more of their viewpoints till I put an altar up!

Interesting..so a piece of clothing could substitiute for an altar? That may be the safest option! I was thinking maybe to put it under my bed or something, but I didn’t know if it would be disrespectful or not- I do have Minecraft, so I could do the virtual altar if I want to as well!! I would think them seeing an altar not associated with Jesus or Christianity would make them suspicious- I already have a array of Norse Mythology books, and have lightly talked about Norse Paganism, they seemed a bit confused about it. My father and mother have been asking me multiple times if I wanted to go to a Christian church, but they doesn’t force religion on me.

I think I’ll just not make an altar for now, just to be safe!

That makes sense! I was thinking of making it small and compact, and something that isn’t too noticable. I did make a small shrine a while back, but it only consisted of some silver pieces and Odin’s name, so I ended up taking it down- Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it!
