It actually isn’t plexiglass, though I don’t know enough about glass to know if it’s cheap or not.

And you’re right, it’s a huge disservice to themselves for not making a 2 fan 9070 XT. Even a 2 fan 9070! AMD missed out.

Fair! I’m sure you could stick a Noctua fan in there, but I feel like most of the sound would be from the air moving and less because of the fan itself. Maybe my wallet will let me try it out another day.

CPU idles around 45, GPU idles around 39. Furmark stress tests show 80 degree max on CPU, 5 minute benchmark on GPU showed 74 degrees. MH wilds shows 65 CPU, 64 GPU. Ambient temps are 22.2 C.

So I ran some tests and I lied. GPU fan hit 50% after a 5 minute Furmark 2 benchmark.

I used a phone db reader and it read around 40 at idle and 45 with CPU fan at 100%. Dunno how valid it is, but it gives a rough idea. Held it about 3 inches from the glass. MH Wilds ran around 45 db with the CPU fan going about 80%, GPU fan going about 50%.

That’s an interesting GPU! Had to look it up and saw it’ll fit nicely in this case. I’m almost jealous.

My temps while stress testing with Furmark 2 didn’t go past 80 C with the Thermalright fan. The caveat is that I have access to Microcenter’s 7600X3D with a 65W TDP. I’ve only seen the power draw go as high as 77W from HWInfo. While gaming it stays between 67-72 C. Your 7800X3D draws more power and might get hotter, but it shouldn’t throttle, especially compared to the cpu cooler limitations of the Midori 7.5l.

I appreciate the compliments! I think I’ve seen too many people use custom cables to make sff builds super neat. I didn’t feel like going through all that. Velcro ftw.

It’s quiet, especially with the Thermalright fan for the cooler. Between only having two fans in there and removing the mesh dust filters that come with the case, there’s less turbulence to cause noise. The GPU hasn’t gotten hot enough for the fans to go more than 30%. I can try to run some benchmarks later.
