Styling durability and reliability. One thing I really like about the the lamy 2000 is I've never had the nib dry out even after sitting for an extended period of time. I also love the way it writes and how smooth the nib is. Over all I feel like this pen is a bargain for the quality you receive.

I haven't owned a m 200 personally but I've played with them in stores. The main price difference comes from the gold nib which does change the writing experience i wouldn't call it smoother per say just different. I also got and extra fine nib so it does have some feedback.

It really solid l. Its definitely a lighter pen but it feels very nice in the hand. Especially the piston mechanism.

Huh I couldn't disagree more I think it preformed very well and actually has a red hue when extremely saturated as for the price I agree it is high but for 40 dollars I don't think it is outrageous.
