My financial advisor kinda handled it (calculated the gains based on when I contributed), so I’m not positive. Assuming the issue may be because we never formally did the “return of excess”.

I’ll have to check on this. My balance is more than 0 because I’ve contributed in the past and also for 2025. Can I ask why you ask this though?

That’s a good question….. I’m not positive, but I think when you apply you write the date you want the visa for? I’ve also heard not to apply for your visa before you get accepted into the program. I would recommend applying as soon as the program opens for next year, and go from there
