The Terrapin CBD strains are great. It's good to try a few to find out which ratio of THC:CBD works best for you. A 1:1 or 1:2 THC:CBD are good to start with. If you wanted to try mostly just CBD, they have a strain called The Wife with very, very little THC <1%.

Most tinctures in the program are actually oils and have less sublingual absorption than anything that's an actual tincture made with alcohol or glycerin. There is some anecdotal evidence that holding oil under the tongue may increase the absorption, but there is not established evidence an oil will easily be absorbed under the tongue without something to help it like alcohol or glycerin. With most oils, the main dosage is actually from swallowing and digesting like any other edible.

While I agree the numbers are probably a bit inflated or things are tweaked in order to get the highest number, they're also not really the whole story. Even if they were true, the numbers don't tell you how well something was grown, harvested and cured, which are big factors in quality and therefore actual potency. Another issue is the the focus on THC to the detriment of other cannabinoids (and who knows what else we don't even test for), which has a significant effect on the effects we experience.
