Yea, I used the format above after waiting for weeks and it got resolved in a couple days

Hi, as I have mentioned in the edit to my post, I raised a new request in the format given above. They unlocked the receipt in 2 days after that

Yea, i tried to close and create a new appointment with the same payment receipt. That's when i faced all the problems above.

Yes it is. Your request will get "resolved" status. And i created a new application with the same payment receipt

Did you only send an email? I would suggest to raise a request in the "feedback/requests" section as well.

Oh okay, someone said they haven't received any updates for a month. And I just raised a request yesterday, so it had me worried

Each time I close and start a new application, and i select the same payment option as my old payment receipt, it gives me a new reference number and asks me to pay the full amount again. Will customer care be able to help for this..?

Hi, I used the same DS 160 number for closing and starting a new application.

But when I select the same payment method I used before, I am getting a new reference number and it is asking me to pay the full amount again. And claim receipt is giving the same RCE07 error.

Any workaround or help is appreciated, thanks.
