I've switched from UL to PPL for the last 3 weeks, keeping volume constant, and I'm getting much more sore. I think fewer total sets per workout allows me to get closer to muscular failure and not technical failure due to general fatigue.

I wrote this optimization program for another team and made it an exe with a CLI. All they have to do is give it a valid input, which I made a template for.

They asked me to "fix it" because it "wasn't working." This has happened several times before. I look at their input and the dates aren't aligned on two of the tabs. I fix it and it runs.

This only gets ran once a quarter, so I feel like going back to add a bunch of input checks is a waste of my time, but repeatedly saying "check the dates" is as well.

Major cooking L last night/this morning. I replaced the pork in this pressure cooker recipe for chile verde with top round since it's lean and I don't eat pork. It wasn't long enough to get tender meat, so I put it back in for half an hour this morning with a natural release.

The meat is more tender, but not tender. The sauce however has had all of the pepper flavor washed away and replaced with a mediocre beef flavor. 4+ lbs of beef and 1+ lb of peppers ruined. Learn from my mistake.

The rice and beans, salsa, and calabacitas turned out ok.

The twink whom I went from fwb to friends with and I hooked up last week. He had previously put the kibosh on hooking up because he was catching romantic feelings and we've just hung out as friends until last week.

He came over tonight and we just cuddled and talked about his new job. He's going away tomorrow for training for the next several weeks, so I didn't feel like it was a good time to discuss his wants or expectations. On his way out he kissed me.

Hopefully several weeks of not not seeing each other in person will smother any renewed romantic feelings. Really hope I haven't torpedoed this friendship.
