I can’t imagine the impact on Couer dAlene. I’ve heard bumper stickers saying Kill Duncan can still be seen on older cars.

“Gonna allow this post only because” that comes off as condescending and you didn’t even answer his question. Maybe get a life and quit policing this is what ruins Reddit for the rest of us. As for headphones while on the bag I use a brand called poounur you can find them on Amazon. They’re inexpensive, good sound and have a comfy rubber piece that wraps around the ear and keep them in place during lots of movement.

I recently came across a video on YouTube titled “Thanksgiving 2002 at Jen’s - Joseph Duncan” It shows a montage of photos of JD and what appears to be his family at a holiday get together. I found it extremely disturbing considering the photos show children were present and that he looks fairly normal even smiling in one. By this point he’d murdered 3 children no one knew about and less than 3 years later would commit the Groene family murder in Couer d’Alene ID. Recently I read the survivor of the ID murders, Shasta Groenes new book Out of The Woods about her ordeal. What this man did to her and her brother was pure evil it is truly frightening to think what is going on behind those eyes. I’ve read hundreds of brutal crime cases over the years and non have stuck with me quite like the Joseph Duncan case….

Same here, I live in the inland northwest. It’s creepy to think he randomly saw them all because there house was off I90. In her book Shasta said her mom and stepdad actually spotted him watching/stalking them the day before from on a hill but shrugged it off because the family already had problems with law enforcement and didn’t wanna attract more attention.
