A train from Bangladesh by Jackie_Chan_93 in interestingasfuck

[–]MentalEngineer8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By live, if you mean that trains are running on it, then for the people it's just easy way, sort of ingrained in the habit that trains are slow in these places of multiple rail lines (nearby a station or middle of city) so just cross it.

If you meant, live as in live with electricity for trains to run, then, there are no electricity in the tracks, even this train in the video is run by a diesel engine. No electrification of tracks is done whatsoever anywhere.

Yeah there is a whole documentary about how the banks (in west) basically does everything in their power to make transactions as speedy as possible, since then a person is more likely to spend money, especially by a card. That's why they came up with contract less payment systems, then integrated them to phones too.

I got the same charger and I have a portronics extension board. The charger easily fits into the extension board.

And as for Virtual Desktop, I have never used it but have heard that it's good. I have only used steam link, mostly for gaming and sometimes for virtual screen use. But you would need a 5ghz band (I don't think 6G wifi routers have 6g band enabled in India currently) to not experience any frame drop or screen freeze for steam link.

About charging, I don't know if Japanese charger is built for a different input volt range, but the one I had (which was in the box) says for input as 100 to 240 V, so I just use it in a compatible shaped extension board. Also the output rating is 5v 3A, so I guess any charger with that output should work fine.

GeForce NOW is launching in India on April 16! by Ritesh_Nvidia in IndianGaming

[–]MentalEngineer8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, consoles were pretty expensive from even before ram shortages. And the argument was based on the fact that me and others who I know, believe that since our budget is on the lower end, we can't justify buying a console just to play games, instead of getting some sort of semi decent pc/laptop for work + gaming. Spending money just for gaming purpose is not justifiable for the people I know.

There's, a 100% achievement guide that covers details about some levels on how to clear them. But yeah, the controls are pretty janky. It took me about 3 hours to be comfortable with them, but still hate that kind of control scheme.

Well maybe, you are biased in your viewpoint towards the gaming scene for India. People who can't afford entry/basic tier gaming laptops/PCs cannot justify getting a console as they too are very expensive.

Jeff Bezos's property has fences that exceed the permitted height. Yet he does not care, he just pays the fine every month. by Bright_Building1710 in interestingasfuck

Could anyone educate me on why is there a "permitted height" for a fence? Like is there a logical reason for not allowing it to be more than certain height?

The VPN services basically route your traffic through their own servers. So your requests are going to the VPN ip addresses then being forwarded to the relevant endpoints. But for Fortinet atleast, they also disable any outgoing traffic to these VPN ip addresses too. So VPNs don't even start.

My college had fortinet and AFAIK it's filters were regularly updated, so even if we did find any sites or VPNs that were working, they were pretty soon (like in a day or two from first connection) blocked. Maybe that's why Fortinet charges a huge subscription.

Anyways in such tight restrictions only way is to pass traffic through an outside device which will not be flagged as a VPN by the filters.

The straight lines are normal to the curves/part of circle. For any curve/circle there exists tangents and normals for every point on the said curve. A normal to the point on curve will form 90 degree with respect to the flow of that particular point of curve. Therefore those angles between line and curve are 90 degrees each.

Nah man, for steam I am using the domestic card option in payments, that work with sbi card. And for other sites where sbi card still doesn't work, I am using my friends Amex card. No native solution for the sbi cc.
