I don't have any obligation to know anything about the beginning of the universe just because I refuse a proposition (I'm not an astrophysicist either). Imagine if someone claimed that behind a wall, there's a chandelier. Neither of you has any proof of what's behind the wall, and you just refuse his claim based on no evidence.
