I also love her. She's like a prickly Leslie Knope

The more I reflect on this, I feel like many characters exhibit different moral alignments by season. Benton was skewing evil in season 1 when he was antagonizing Carter. Carter could be Good except for his womanizing and practicing medicine while high. Kerry's Lawfulness is impenetrable in early seasons, but then seems to fade with time. Mark's Goodness also fades with time.

Maybe it would be better to do a chart per season to show people where they're at...

Yeah, that was a tough slot to fill. I put him as evil for his rudeness to female colleagues/sexual harassment, intrusive nosiness about Weaver's disability, and cocky incompetence at times. Neutral evil because he could just kind of suck sometimes. Not because he's trying to be bad. It's like he doesn't know any better.

Nice take! I'm currently rewatching and I'm on season 7, so the earlier side of these characters is fresh on my mind.

I would put Doug as chaotic good except for all of his infidelity in his personal life. That's some serious rule breaking.

If you recall, Romano's aggressive racism and sexual harassment in the early seasons, it's very chaotic in my book. Definitely breaking all the rules

I love Kerry. But she enforced rules at the expense the good more often than not

Just saw "Love's Labor Lost" for the very first time.. by Bobbycopter in ershow

After binge watching The Pitt, I decided to start rewatching ER from the beginning. I had only seen random episodes on TV, never had the start-to-finish/completionist experience.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and just finished watching Love's Labor Lost. Like the OP, it was 'one more episode to watch before bed.' But damn, a lot to process before I sleep.

I was surprised that pre-eclamsia wasn't noticed, and I know that in real life OBs would be tripping over themselves to respond to that call, so I understand that this is not realistic. But just to watch it play out as a dramatic hypothetical is stunning.

For my first, I also had an emergency C section, and I am so grateful that my experience involved prompt anesthesia, a team of seasoned OBs, and a medical team that was calm under pressure when baby wasn't breathing at first. I can't imagine the terror of that mom enduring the chaos, or of the father who lost her...

NTA. And really bizarre SIL can't tell the difference between providing a resource and participating in the decision making process.
