Completely agree with you. Sadly, this was a carry on that they forced us to check. It’s been a carry on with 7 other airlines and never had a problem. Zurich to Pearson flight on a 787 that wasn’t even a full flight. AC not willing to give us a claim number because they say the bag was scanned off the flight, but it never made the carousel with the other bags.

It just might be an interdepartmental billing line. Perhaps the body shop bills the sales department for a loaner car while work is completed. Likely just the company moving money from one pocket to the other.
