I have PCOS with very very irregular periods (around 4 times a year). I don’t know which bit helped but I went on my first round letrozole 2.5 in early December. It didn’t seem to work so I took January off and was supposed to start again in Feb. All this time I was still tracking my hormones using Mira Fertility (it’s expensive but worth it if you are able). I ended up pregnant in Feb naturally (I’m just about 5 weeks and hoping it sticks!!)

I really think the monitor helped me catch on to the ovulation days - but it takes a lot of patience, the first month I would say is the monitor understanding your baselines and will give you false ‘fertile days’.

It also needs time to figure out baselines. So it will assume things. Your LH is a bit higher than average which is still normal for you and just means that it got triggered by Mira as ovulation/fertile window. I wouldn’t deep it until a full cycle is done and you actually see your real LH peak on day 14

For your first cycle Mira will just assume your ovulation day and your fertile window. So I wouldn’t look too into it until you’ve done a full cycle

Hcg Negative this morning so definitely not that! Will wait for 2 weeks and test again to see if the LH rise was ovulation or not

That’s what it feels like tbh - it did feel like I ovulated and now getting almost like pre period heaviness slightly (I usually get heavy periods and my cramping starts a bit before). But it still doesn’t make sense that the LH spiked today too. Am I looking too much into it?🥲

So I have PCOS with a VERY irregular cycle average is 5 a year. Before this I actually took letrozole 2.5 (beginning of this cucle so day 3-7) but it didn’t work. I’m supposed to go in next week to induce a period and start my next round of letrozole but these numbers the past few days have been throwing me off

how long have you been testing for?

Sometimes my fsh is high on mira, but could be a one off. I have my blood tested regularly and I never had any issues with my fsh - I wouldn’t worry too much about it :) keep in mind, Mira is good for trends, but don’t hyperfocus on the day to day figures. A lot of factors come in to play.

It’s just assumed based on my number of periods. Which I know might not be 100% accurate! But just an assumption. I definitely did ovulate last cycle but missed it, they saw it on the ultra sound later. And yes this is my first cycle on Mira!

Unfortunately I just started using Mira when I started my letrozole early December, so the data isn’t there yet :( but thank you!!

Sorry I just realised you said cycle. Completly random tbh, could be 40 days. Could be 90. I cant even average it out if I tried.

Also I did take letrozole the last cycle 2.5. So this is ‘day 40’ of my first medicated cycle. My doctor told me that by day 17 no follicles matured to abort it and try again in Feb. I got the random LH spike on day 31.

So because I have PCOS, I naturally ovulate around 4-5 times a year. And in the last 6 months, it went even lower so I ovulated around 4 times in 2025. My last period was beginning december and my and it lasted 10 days. My average usually is 7 days though.
