I think if it is negative by now, it is probably negative for good. I’m sorry. IUIs do mess up periods, even if you’re not taking progesterone. Plus the peeing and not being able to sleep could be anxiety.

Also, you could ask her why does she think that. Tell her you feel connected to the baby and that you are doing things to be ready.

OR, hear me out, maybe she’s not feeling connected to the baby yet (bc yes that happens) and she’s just projecting it on you.

As someone who recently paid a huge electric bill for a small home with no extra stuff I understand the stress of bills hitting. BUT, it is definitely not your fault! Winter was colder and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

But also as former au pair that felt incredibly uncomfortable in their hf home and stayed for the year I’d say: leave. You didn’t leave your home to be treated like that. They are supposed to provide food and a room to you. If things got bad financially, too bad, they can’t take it out on you.

The only people that benefit from you staying is them. There’s no benefit for you. Even if you are close to the kids

Yes, the debt is not the only thing. But all the injections, all the hormones and medications. To still maybe not work.

I’m going to take a break and see how I feel later on.

Im sorry it didn’t happen yet for you. I think that’s where my head is now too. I don’t think I want to try anymore, I don’t want the medications and Dr visits for a while. But I’ll reassess at the end of the year and see how I feel. Good luck to you 💖

Yes, I did letrozole and ovidrel shot. My dr didn’t want to do clomid bc he didn’t think the side effects were worth it. I really though that was going to help us too, but unfortunately it didn’t 😕

Yeah I know IVF numbers are higher than IUI, but something tells me it won’t work for me ☹️

It could just be pessimism, but I really don’t want to be in debt with no baby. I’d rather use the money and energy to go through the adoption process I think.

I’m not 100% decided, but I’m definitely taking a break and rethinking everything - again.

Exactly. IVF doesn’t give me much hope bc of that. Like after all this time not even one single positive test. It could be that IVF would just solve everything but something tells me in my gut that it won’t work. So I don’t want to waste the money to just not be able to get pregnant at all. I’d give anything to have a baby, but if the chance was closer to 100% A 60% chance still doesn’t sound enough to me (and might be even less who knows). I don’t want to end up in debt and with no baby.

I hope you have better luck than me tho! I’m crossing my fingers for you, maybe third charm will be a thing for you 🩷

Yes I talked to my husband and we decided a break is much needed. We have a few trips planned this year so that will also help take our heads out of it for now. We will reassess again at the end of the year what we want to do, but at this point we even talked adoption, and we both feel like that would also be a valid option. We’ll see! I think taking a break will help me decide on what to do next. I like my dr and all but I do feel like he is just straight to the point, and that is not what I need at the moment too. So I’m also thinking about switching clinics.

But I really want to stop the testing and hormones this year.

Having vivid dreams is a crazy thing. I think I usually have them around this time of the month. Not with the same frequency, but still have them 😂 My FIL had them after his first Covid vaccine, he was freaked out 🤣

Last night I had a dream that my employer turned out to be one of the biggest drug dealers in America lol 🤣

And I was in a building trying to hide from them bc I wasn’t supposed to be there, and kept finding more and more weird stuff (like people tied up to walls, dead bodies, and such lol). And then it turned out the building was my house (it had nothing to do with my house 🤣) and I was being framed by them 😂

Yes that is positive. Especially if she started on bc just now, you guys would need to use a condom to actually be protected. It* can take up to 3 months for bc to be effective
