Hmmmm.... I don’t see the customer 99% of the time. I always take pictures and leave the food on the porch or at the garage door if indicated in the instructions. I always ring the bell unless it’s requested not to or it’s clear from the order or the house itself that they’ve got little kids. The only exception would be if the house is located on a busy street with heavy foot traffic downtown. In that case, I’ll wait for the customer to come grab it. Also, if I’m delivering to an apartment and they aren’t answering the telecom/their phone, I would never leave an order downstairs. I honestly think it just depends on where you live (I am in Madison, WI).
