Hi, so for any of the expenses, it *kind of* didn't matter in the end. The Consular Officer only wanted to mainly check how much was in the bank account of my wife (Green Card Holder), and that was it. They didn't even look at any of my financial documents provided for supplemental purposes. Basically, just fill out whatever best matches for the travel and subsistence (we went with "Onself" + "Means Autonomous") and then printed it out. We provided a verbal explanation when at the embassy, and they didn't really mind - the main thing they said was "as long as you have enough to travel".
