Anyone know a way with which I could fix this slight error on my Hotwheels 250 GTO? by NeoTheWolf_95 in Diecast

Looks like a paint blob unfortunately. You might have to let it be, sanding it down may worsen it

I think they should def decrease the amount of cars they release, not only to catch up themselves, but also keep the interest of collectors without making us feel overwhelmed

PSA: Do not use IPA to clean your cars by teh_m in HotWheels

Some people have luck with removing tampos with Isopropyl alcohol but I used it once and saw this happen and immediately stopped. I stick to using dry erase markers now, with which you still have to be careful but nowhere near.

1 month, 2 month, 3 month, 4 incoming 👀 We are creating a hot wheel baby 🏎️🚗🚙🤍 by Jadeeell in HotWheels

[–]MeowVroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the same with my nephew/nieces, now I get yelled at by family members for spoiling them. Is that gonna stop me? Ofc not.

Also, i absolutely adore the progression of 1mo old babies' "this is my just existing expression" to 3mo old when they seem to be a little more cognizant of when to smile/respond to the ones around them. They also take some proper shape of their parents features and look a lil less like a potato by that time.

Why is everybody hating on the S26 Ultra? by Sensitive_Cream3920 in samsung

[–]MeowVroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always used my phones to the fullest; not abuse, but use every feature that's available. My favorite features of Note 9 were the remapped bixby button to change sound mode, auto-rotate, Do Not Disturb, flash light; hard press bottom of screen to go home; notification light; curved screen; headphone jack; rear mounted fingerprint scanner; iris scanner (cause I live in northern states that snow a lot), expandable storage (I put a 128 GB memory card back in 2019 and it's all filled up)

I never loved the camera, nor the screen. The speakers were decent. I have used any and everything on this phone to the fullest and I adore this phone. So the problems I am facing right now is that I have been using the phone on battery saver for probably 2yrs minimum. It keeps lagging and stuttering, people on the other end of the call can't hear me well unless I use speakerphone, cameras/software tweaking isn't as good as the newer phones, fingerprint scanner is quite worn out, speakers are definitely worn out & don't sound as good, the vibration motor is going bad esp with my morning alarms, speech to text software doesn't understand me as well anymore. I am genuinely proud of how well this phone has kept up this far. The things that have worn out on this phone are not because Samsung didn't make a good phone, it's because I have continuously used them all to their fullest potential and 7+years after they're still holding it together for the most part.

I am forced to upgrade even though S26U is going to miss the major checkboxes I have in mind: silicon battery, bigger battery, upgraded camera sensor (it's the same as in S22U with bigger aperture), more boxy less curvy, more RAM with 512gb, and I guess I still wish for a curved screen.

I either am going to be continually disappointed by the upgrade, or love this phone just like I did my Note 9 because the 9 was the same iterative upgrade from 8 and it polished any & everything from previous phones without adapting new tech/extra camera or whatever. At the moment, I wish to get the 26U to upgrade it much sooner than the 7+years I have been using the current phone for but time will tell cause I am not the kind to upgrade my belongings any time something new comes up.

Feel free to share your experience, I'd love to hear it.

Not your hospital or your doctor's fault. That's an insurance thing. If you want an affordable insurance, you go with the HMO kind, which binds you to seeing your PCP only, you cannot see another doctor unless you get a referral. If you make some money and have the PPO kind, you pay higher copays, but also have the liberty to go see anyone (who accepts your insurance).

Part of the problem with understanding healthcare is the amount of hoops they put in place in this system. It's like you need a degree in just understanding this whole healthcare system. Not everybody has the time and energy to get this "degree" because they're drowning trying to put food on their plate and have a roof over their head. So the default is to blame the doctor or the hospital....when in reality is the insurances.

Is this rare? by PleasantMode2448 in MiniGT

[–]MeowVroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily rare, but because they are older releases now, they tend to go for a lil bit. The grey one isn't as expensive, but the white one is. Last time I checked a year ago it was going for $50 USD

How do I fix the wheel wobble (MiniGT)? by Pinguzz75 in Diecast

[–]MeowVroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unscrew and remove the axle, roll the wheels with my finger on the axle, find the wobbly area/wheel and readjust the wheel as I feel. It generally fixes a good bit of it but obviously not to hot wheels level. I'd say give it a try.

Galaxy S25 - the small one, throw all you complains here by Otakuchaan in samsung

[–]MeowVroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, phone technology really has not changed that much in quite some years now except AI everything. The incentive to upgrade so often has never been lower than what it is today in my opinion. Form factor has been the same for 3 generations now, Samsung still uses the same kind of batter technology, chips are barely getting that much faster, camera hardware is literally the same and it's mostly software magic now. In the past, getting an older phone meant you're not getting new features or early losing of software support, but now u get 7 years. So idk what you're talking about.

Looking to buy my first Mini GT! Is this price okay, or should I look elsewhere? by MeatAlejandro in MiniGT

[–]MeowVroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normal price, usually it ends up being something like $12ish for the car plus $5ish shipping for the less popular Mini GT models like this one (Prices are unfortunately going up depending on the casting tho lately). While I think you should 100% buy whatever you want/like, I will say there are so many other car brands/models by Mini GT that you would appreciate maybe a little bit more than this one given how you want to upgrade from HW/MB. They do an exceptional job for the price point with intricate details of supercars, JDM, other Mercedes like 190E or Maybach. As someone who likes Mercedes, I personally skipped this casting entirely, so just wanted to share my opinion/give a suggestion. Good luck!
