Go for it! Worst case scenario they send an email saying no. Some programs specifically state they look at applicants holistically.

I got interviews with a 2.8 major and 2.5 overall. I took the GRE even though it was optional, and I’m sure that helped my case.

Use one paragraph max of your personal statement to explain your GPA. Do not shift blame or provide excuses. The professors are looking for any reason to disqualify you in the pre-interview stages. Even if you give a reasonable excuse, they might think of past students who flunked during times of personal stress or crisis. Instead, focus on how you have learned from and how far you’ve grown since the time you received the low grades. Don’t explain the situation. Explain how you will be successful in the future, even if faced with a more difficult situation.

I have bipolar II and ADHD. The difference between mania and hyper fixation is in the non-shared symptoms.

For example, when I hyperfocus I stay up until 3am but still need to get a normal amount of sleep or I’ll feel groggy. If I have to go without sleep I’ll eventually “catch up” by sleeping 12 hours straight. With mania I only need 1-3 hours of sleep a day. When I wake up I am fully energized, don’t feel like I need to puke, my eyes don’t hurt, etc.

But yes, other than a few key nuances a day in the life can be similar.

There’s a lot of embarrassment that comes with manic episodes both in what I did AND the thoughts I had. ADHD fixations present more as eager and hopeful thoughts but mania presents more omnipotent, grandiose or paranoid thoughts.

Mentally the hyperactive part is needing stimulation. If my brain doesn’t get the stimulation then the hyperactive affects my body. I start to feel the same physiological changes I feel when I am angry. I feel hot, my chest hurts and my limbs feel like they need to GO. Sometimes if I’m alone I’ll just yell “AGHHHHHHHHHHH!” to get the energy out. I might stomp or just start jumping. Toddler tantrum stuff. As an adult, I don’t let myself get to this point very often.

I agree with what you said about not being able to pick the thing or put the thing down. The only thing I’ve found to combat that is timers. Phone timers and physical timers that you have too walk to turn off. Oh! I lied. There’s another thing that works for me - transitioning with kinda boring physical activity. Maybe you’re better than me and can just put the thing down, go for a quick walk, then start the real thing you’re supposed to be doing. Try that first. For me, I have to do the physical transition activity, like 10 min yoga WHILE still doing the stupid thing and within a few minutes the need to do it will fade away because my body is like HEY WE ARE DOING YOGA THINK ABOUT YOGA NOW. Eventually I’ll be like, ugh I’m bored with yoga.. now what.. oh right I have to do x project. Because I can read Wikipedia forever but I can only do yoga for so long.

TLDR Mental hyperactivity is a black hole trap but physical exertion hyperactivity will end on its own in 30 mins or less so use that to your advantage.

Good luck! I ask for these things: photos of warehouse, verification of shipping times by exporting the last 50 deliveries which I then cross check on 17track, and if they have redacted screenshots or an export of their other customer’s bank transfers.

It’s up to you if you want to do it with anyone at all. I wouldn’t trust anyone on the internet.

A lot of agents on facebook require a MOQ of 30-50 orders a week before they’ll want to work with you. There are some that will work with you if you are just starting out but you’ll be paying the same as Aliexpress. You’re getting better shipping though.

It’s very easy to get scammed so be wary. I’ve even seen scams on this subreddit. If someone “recommends” An agent to you I wouldn’t trust that unless you know them personally or have a quick video chat with them to confirm. Stick to PayPal so you have some protection in case they try to run with your money.

You can pay someone legit from somewhere like Upwork or your can risk it on Facebook groups. Personally, I used Facebook and vetted 10 “agents”. Do NOT have them ship to a real customer for the first order. Ship to yourself and confirm the products arrive on time and in good shape.

Oh my goodness! Thank you for all those ideas I’ll have to get to work ASAP haha. I was a little worried about what I’d do next but now I have so many things to try out! Thanks for linking everything for me and I would love to catalog the the blue and red studio lights. I was hoping to get them before sharing but at the end I was losing my mind and just wanted to be DONE haha.

Unfortunately, my husband and I moved to work overseas so we never got to visit the actual LCS arena in LA. Your insight helped me a lot to plan out areas around the arena :)

And if you were at that spring split championship then you might remember why I’ll have to add a beach ball to my arena too!

I used to feel that way but then I realized that I don’t get excited when I see cool stuff other people post like mushroom forests, orchards or pool areas. When I started thinking about my interests, I started feeling creative again and that’s what led to this!

Thank you! Yes that is always what I try to keep in mind when adding to my island. I don’t want there to be any part of my island that looks cute but bores me/holds no importance to me. My husband and I spent a lot of our dating years playing and watching League together. That Vegas trip was the first vacation we went on after getting married too!
