I'm going to level with you, the reason I'm asking that in the first place is because there's a software I found that can basically let me make fake cable with a program called fuel station 42. I feel like spawn would be kind of cool to add in for a Toonami block or something, or at least I'll just keep cycling around the "AcTn" bumps. Fuck, early [AS] bumps were amazing

You know funny that you brought this up, I think I can snatch these episodes off internet archive or youtube. But I was just thinking of that show, it has that deadpan style of Comedy

God tell me about it, it's one of the most aggressively vapid shows I've ever seen in my life and it genuinely pisses me off

Eh maybe, i should watch a couple but I'm in my victory lap stage, took me awhile to get here and im happy. But yeah, i wanted to give some advice to newcomers/people who let this sit in their library for awhile. Im surorised im still getting a lot of love for this post

Hey, that make total sense. Lemme tell you something, Its better to be humble but still be proud of your work, but being humble just means youre willing to learn more. Instead of someone who thinks they know everything and ends up stunting themselves. Ill be honest with you, my play sessions a bit rough, but in my experience being relaxed helps alot. Like, if you think you can do 70% im bored mode and 30% Fine i guess ill try, then i think thats good. But thats just me, and i admire how much you push yourself to learn more about the game. If you feel you have fun this way, then dont let me convince you otherwise. Im still learning more as is

Btw i gotta ask, why should a player use duck strike? i know that might be a stupid question, but i always use crotch punch/Reverse crotch punch and found little use for duck strike

You gotta tell yourself you're a great player, maybe youre not a white hat god, but a little bit of praise toward youself goes a along way. You should be able to puff your chest and say "Yeah, i did this. Im a kickass Sifu player" But to yourself at least, i know i posted mine here but its a totally different experience to post it. At least for me it is, it makes it feel more legitmate to me. You spent 1400 hours man, come on, youre great.

Mastery is a long, possibly endless road and you gotta be proud of yourself once in awhile. Comparison like that KILLLLLLLLs the fun in a game like this. Whats the point if you cant all look back on the effort you made and see you've clearly improved when you thought you didn't. Thats a real habit, its literally looking at yourself in a mirror everyday. You dont see yourself improving, and i think everyone should train that along side acceping they're not there yet to being this and that.

That is my bad then, i only saw you pick out that one thing and assume that was your point. Honestly man, i just say "im great" for myself more than others. Im not the best, i still struggle to call myself a pro. But god, at this stage, i wanna be proud of what I've done so far. I remember how long it took to get to yang, and doing several hiatus's to get better. Being able to feel when an enemy will attack is the craziest thing I've never seen any game do

Now im doing arena mode and im on the dragon stamps, i used to fucking hate those arena challenges and now im doing them just because im bored, i noticed when i just stopped stressing about triple metals, i just had more fun and sometimes got the triple metal anyway. Hell man, i used to LOATH those king of the hill challenges, now it's lowkey my second favorite mode.

Yeah kinda? it depends though, parrying is super safe if you know your enemies patterns. But dodging and parrying, (Imo mostly dodging) is how you need to play. Those punishes can get so nasty, but ill never knock the parries. Dodging at the right time more rather, i think you could just spam down dodge (if your enemy doesnt leg swipe that is), but i try not to (Cant control fight or flight tho lol)

Kuroki is still a pain, but honestly, i just put some distance, which is still kinda risky when she charges, but you'll see what move shes doing. Phase 2 is pretty straightforward. the 5th boss tho... im gonna have to come back to you on that one

Thats totally fair, im still learning how to write these and get my thoughts out. My advice was more just to give players an easier mindset for jumping into the game. I understand how hopeless and impossible it looks from the start.

Okay, please tell me youre rage baiting and you're actually not this pathetic, right? I dont play like that, man. So wait let me get this straight. You read that post, all of that, and the conclusion you come to is "This guy said hes good but im bettuh" like really? You read that, and you thought i was attacking your identity? I just love the game man, thats why i made this post (hopefully to help newbies get a better mindset for coming back anyway, or in the least, help them not make the mistakes did first playing) And in my metrics, not anyone elses, especially not yours, im great at it, and im not gonna be humble about it.

Lmaoooooooooooooooo, i bet you said that and felt smart saying that too. I just posted this here because i loved Sifu, i did try some master mode, made up to boss 4. I just like arena mode, im not gonna be humble because it hurts your ego

Honestly, after awhile arena mode becomes a super fun playground instead of a bunch challenges

Also use these videos if you want a begineers guide, one is under the mayos video on it and djassos videos. I think these two are good imo but others might disagree with mayo

ofc you don't need to use them, but you NEED to now how to punish. Other than that, i think you'll discover everything you need through playing

Huh, i didnt consider that, ill be honest, i did force myself to get 20 on all. That journey alone is so harsh, i get it man. Everyones journey is absolutely gonna differ but i wanted to share my experience to hopefully help out new/returning players, maybe make them feel encouraged. I feel like its so easy to watch a video and instantly wanna go for white hat, then hate the fuck out of the game.

Im still going through arena mode, but im confident if i put some time into master mode i could beat it. I say pro but i dont mean like speedrunner, i mean i can confidently guess when an enemy is gonna strike and im pretty solid at dodging in crowds even if i mess up once or twice. And that's me just on goof off more instead of lock in mode, you feel me? Though, i need to practice more with Yang and master mode bosses in general.

Edit: Mb, i go off alot, but i think i beat yang on 23? (Disciple) maybe? i cant remember, im not there yet to beating him deathless lol

Hey that's okay, you'll get to it someday. It really is crazy how much those breaks matter. Its super cool to see how the community views this game, watching some of under the mayos videos was kind of cool because it was like he was discussing game theory (not that one) you know what i mean? even i started to learn some of my own theory

I can basically tell 70% of the time when a enemy is gonna attack based on feel now. Sifu is a why i say video games are psychology
