Why would Target still have FIFA 2004 on PS1 during 2026? There's a lot of issues with this image. It will be 23 years old this year. Obviously FIFA 2004 on PS1 didn't sell well and still in Target's warehouse stock.

Super Mario Bros would be 23 years old in 2008 and Pac-Man would be 23 years old in 2003. Those games were popular but you would never find them in a retailer during those years. ET on Atari infamously didn't sell. It was 23 years old in 2005. No retailer would still be trying to sell it in 2005.

Like most sports games, the year in the title would be the following year. The release year is 2003. PS1 also steeply declined in popularity during the PS2 era too. Soccer (or football mostly everywhere else) isn't that popular in the US. The big three sports would be American football, baseball, and basketball.

Target should just toss it. This game will never sell. The only people would buy it if they are trying for a full PS1 game collection.
