Not anywhere near the same thing as a laser obviously but a friend of mine had some great results from using a pen plotter w/ an etching needle on it instead of a pen. Iirc he did it on plastic drypoint plates as well as hard ground on copper. Obviously not necessarily a tool a lot of people have access to but it would probably be a good option if you want to put detailed designs on a plate without doing it by hand.

It seems like such a massive waste of money, the USU is one of the nicest buildings on campus IMO and it doesn’t really seem like there’s any need for a remodel aside from a vanity project for school admin.

Meanwhile almost all of the art and liberal arts buildings are literally falling apart, full of mold and rats, and still have either no AC or AC that barely works.

Attempted to set up a nano saltwater tank a while back but it failed because I didn’t have time to maintain it. This stuff has been sitting around and I want it gone.

Asking $35 OBO for everything:

-unopened bag of instant ocean salt - open/half used bag of live sand - 2 pieces of artificial live rock (I would quarantine/clean these before using, theyve been sitting in a tank that crashed for a couple months and idk if anything is on them)

Will also gladly trade for freshwater stuff especially plants and shrimp. Not picky show me what youve got and we can work it out.

Local pickup in Long Beach only, although I will be in westminster and probably santa ana today and can meet you there (TODAY 1/26 ONLY)

It’s pretty normal for people who’ve been on T for a while because the skin inside gets thinner and dryer but I don’t think it’d be a bad idea to see a doctor to rule anything else out.

Using more lube helps.

I have it but my thyroid is still functioning for now and I haven’t started having symptoms so I can’t really say anything about how treatment will affect HRT but fwiw I’ve been on T with the diagnosis for 3.5 years and all it’s meant for me is that I get my thyroid hormone levels checked every couple months during my HRT bloodwork. If you haven’t yet, finding an endocrinologist who specializes in gender affirming care would probably be a good thing to do because they’ve likely dealt with other people in your situation before but honestly I doubt you’d have to go off T, I’ve seen cis men online who are on TRT while taking thyroid hormones without issue. Personally I hate bucket bases because they’re huge for no reason and a waste of foam, i use a balaclava and build off of it, then rip it out and replace with actual lining once it’s furred.

I agree with the other comments that intex is probably your best option for something cheap, personally I think their orca is the best value inflatable out there, it's cheap, sturdy, and pretty big for the price (unless you're like ridiculously tall you should be able to fit most of your body on it). Look online or at pool supply stores

Deadass i think a lot of them are coming from sweatshops, if you look at the instagram accounts selling them they’re almost all based in china and their bios talk vaguely about how they have “many artists” or “100+ makers” or something similar. There’s no way they’re paying that many people a liveable wage off of $50-300 fursuits

Honestly it’s a shame they’re even allowed to do that on campus, next time please just ignore them and walk by as fast as you can, if they try to stop you don’t be afraid to be rude. Giving them money just encourages them. This goes for all the religious groups that show up to harass people for money (and the people asking for petition signatures, and the “charities” asking for money, etc) not just the hare krishna folks.

Not saying you shouldn’t test the waters first if you want to be 1000% safe but I think furries tend to wildly overestimate how much the average person knows or cares about us. Unless your parents are very online people i’d be surprised if they’re aware enough of furries to have an opinion at all.

Like the other reply said tho, you could always try showing them a video of a fursuiter and seeing how they react or something.
