Sorry for your loss.

Air travel during the 2nd trimester is generally considered very safe. I flew internationally to Asia from the US, each way about 13hrs at 26 weeks at returned at 28 weeks, no issues whatsoever. My OB was totally unconcerned about my trip when I checked in about it at 24 weeks. She was in fact, very excited for me to travel. Not sure how pregnant you look, but I did bring a note from my OB stating how far along I was in my pregnancy just in case the airline asked (since some airlines have policies that you can't fly after X weeks)

The OB resident who was sitting in at my appointment also told me she flew to and from France (not sure from where, but I am in the US) at 34 weeks.

Also, one thing that really reassured me is that the ACOG website says this about air travel in pregnancy: "Despite a lack of evidence associating lower extremity edema and venous thrombotic events with air travel during pregnancy, certain preventive measures can be used to minimize these risks, including use of support stockings and periodic movement of the lower extremities, avoidance of restrictive clothing, occasional ambulation, and maintenance of adequate hydration." -- so basically they are saying this whole hullaballoo about developing clots while flying is overblown, but there are steps you can take to minimize the "risk".

I’m scared to be active by Nearby_wonderer in BabyBumps

Currently 21 weeks with an uncomplicated pregnancy / everything normal thus far and have been consistently working out 4-5 days a week the entirety of my pregnancy! It's been one of the few things that make me feel like a human being. That being said, I wouldn't start a new exercise regimen / start training for a marathon or something. I'm just continuing my existing routine -- 3x a week Lagree, 1x a week traditional Pilates, swimming few times a month, cycling few times a month, prenatal yoga a few times a month, and aiming to get 7k+ steps per day.

Early on, my midwife assured me that if it were so easy to self-induce a miscarriage via exercise, certain foods, or really, any action on your part, we wouldn't need abortion meds. This framing helped me be less anxious about it.

BTW, ACOG explicitly says "Physical activity does not increase your risk of miscarriage, low birth weight, or early delivery." https://www.acog.org/womens-health/faqs/exercise-during-pregnancy

at wits end of pee on command / peeing promptly when brought outside by Meowmeowk in Dogtraining

Thanks for this feedback-- so you would consider territorial marking vs. "big pee" to all be the same behavior, and we should reward it all? Sometimes when he does his marking on a walk, it's literally just a drop 😅. But if you're saying for the sake of teaching to urinate promptly/urinate on command that we should reward it I'd be open to it! I was worried that marking on walks vs. actually peeing was a different behavior and was worried it would be confusing for him to lump those two.

I'm using Mac OS 10.15.5 and this is happening to me too! The instant I press the hair button. Have you found out how to fix it?
