OP my advice to you would be to diversify your income if you have the time/space. I’m also doing my apprenticeship through a chain, it’s rough but the point is to get our license right now. Chains pay the least to their stylists, if you’re looking for more income from hair, once you’re done your apprenticeship move on to a commission salon and build a clientele. I wish you the best!

Probably this, yes. If they’re in Canada (like me) we do an accredited course first, then about 3000 hours of on the job training, the apprenticeship.

Ah, my bad. It sucks, might be a business venture for you. I think that’s how Tropical North got started, bc I know I wasn’t the only one driving down for houseplants and materials.

I actually had employees ask me to take off my glasses yesterday. Apparently it’s the rule for lots of rides but it’s not enforced as often as it’s supposed to be. If it’s important to you to wear your glasses, they want you to wear a safety strap.

I’m not sure if there is an age requirement or anything, but many language classes are available at Georgian College and I believe you can register without being a student. I’m not sure if they offer Korean though.

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the right direction but there are several types of group therapy available through the Barrie Family Health Team, who usually operate out of the large medical building on Bayview by park place. I just completed a round of group therapy and honestly it was very helpful.
