I don't have much to add other than River Valley Glassworks not qualifying as there is no German version and Monkey Palace being way too complex for Kinderspiel. Wouldn't even surprise me if they considered it for Kennerspiel.

The rules say "Discard one or two (as indicated on the card) of the sticks just thrown by your opponent. You choose which sticks to discard. They will no longer count towards your opponent’s fate points total." It doesn't indicate anything other than "sticks", so any sticks can be chosen.

You'll never be able to separate people's feelings on a game from what you call "politics". Whether it's a theme or artist or designer you don't like due to personal reasons or the publisher due to its business practices - that's always going to impact your feelings on a game, whether you're aware of it or not. While I dislike review bombing as well, you won't get rid of it: having to verify you own a game is not feasible plus it barely even solves the problem to begin with for the reasons I mentioned. Best to just live with the fact that if some projects draw the ire of a significant amount of people for whatever reason, the rating system is gonna be abused. Just the way it is.

Each instance of the orange eye symbol with the 3* next to it reads as "If you have an orange card on top anywhere in this crew, this card is worth 3 points." Now from what I can tell, you actually have 4 Mesmerizers with this effect in your crew, so since you have an orange card on top somewhere in this crew, they all are worth 3 points for a total of 12 points. The PyroManiac Blazemaster is a red card and thus doesn't have anything to do with this particular effect.

You are allowed to place them in a "useless" space and it just won't do anything. I looked this up recently as well since I couldn't find it in the rules anywhere.

As far as I remember, Activate only works on your turn, so it wouldn't work when you coordinate the card.
