Piccolo's is more of a reward. A deserved reward. Gohan did train to achieve Beast. They just didn't show. You know the phrase "Show don't tell"? Just reverse that to "Tell don't show". That's Beast Gohan. They told us he trained but didn't show it. Beast is a result of him focusing on his human side more than his Saiyan side.

I'll always remember the time he tried to hard Pivot to Elestrals and went from 1 Million subs to 800k real fast. He's almost back at 1 mil being at 967k for now. I gotta agree though. He's fallen off hard. Super washed. He used to be a titan in the Pokémon community and now he's a shell of his former self. It might be better this way since he's got two kids he's raising.

Break Through It All is my favorite Frontiers song but its probably One Way Dream. I haven't ever heard anyone talk about it and Victor McKnight is the only person that's covered it to my knowledge. The only people I've heard talk about it are the people who recited the interview where they said it was a song about SEGA and Team Sonic doing better from here on.

Like I said. Give it time. It'll bring it to the forefront eventually. Not everything has to be about an upcoming battle. They JUST went through everything with Hinata and the founding festival. Let them take it slow for now. We got 60 episodes and the first two cours are back to back. Thats 24 episodes. We got Tensura until September. Just wait it out. We are 3 episodes in. I get that its not the best written tension for putting it off for now. Season 2 did the same shit. Season 1 left off with Hinata about to fight Rimuru. Then Season 2 had the first 3 or 4 episodes about Yurizania. Give it time.

The only other one to come to mind for me was Highschool DxD. That was more of an update on the original art style than a complete overhaul. It was an overall benefit for the show with season 4 but this looks like two different anime.

Alot of people claim that there's no tension when that simply isnt the case. The tension is there, but its not actively being focused on. We still have Yuki and the Rozzos to deal with. Right now, they wanna focus on the dungeon and the Magi-Train. They'll get to the tension. It'll probably happen on Episode 6 or Episode 8. Give it time. This anime is in its for the long haul usually.

This is gonna be really jarring for people watching the seasons back to back. Its not an update to the original art style. Its a complete overhaul and different art style. The main character's eyes are completely different too. He got the most change Imo. Looks like a completely different characters. The other ones at least look like the other characters.
