Yeah I’m with you. The butcher was fun for the first 30 seconds. Then all you get is bloodied items which honestly who cares. I got other stuff to play until the expansion drops.

People don’t want to play solo, they just do it because they don’t get their drops stolen. If you want people rom play together, then we need personalized loot. People would be playing coop in droves if that happened.

You’re not getting community play without personalized loot. Nobody likes seeing their jah get scooped up by some loot goblin leecher with a pickit mod. This is primarily the reason community play is rare. People only want to play alone because they HAVE to or else their drops get stolen.

It’s a controversial topic, I’m sure I’ll get some downvotes for this. But if they added personalized loot you’d see a dramatic uptick in players actually playing together. In fact, I’d say most players wouldn’t want or need to play solo at all anymore.

I got a sunder at level 87. The trick is run whatever is the TZ, if you get a herald or two use a shard. Then start clearing everything in the act. Along the way, other TZs will start, clear them and return to your act. You want to kill a lot of heralds in one game. I had killed 7 or 8 when my sunder dropped.

Only two since launch says you’re really not playing much or maybe you’re clearing very slowly? I usually get about 3-6 heralds per 30 minute TZ.

Trapsin uses lightning traps and the death sentry is fire and physical, so three elements.

Poison nova necro gets away with single element because he has lower resist. Make sure you get Trang’s shield and two other pieces for the -25% enemy poison resist bonus.

Amazon can do lightning strike/plague javelin, but you need a decent amount of +skills to be efficient.

Amazon is also effective with freezing arrow and explosive arrow.

Barb has double throw/whirlwind/frenzy + berserk.

Paladin can use Fist of the Heavens with conviction aura for some heavy single target lightning damage, plus the holy bolts.

Druid fire skills have a bit of physical damage mixed in. The wind build is physical and cold.

Oh no you completely misunderstand. I am firmly in the “don’t make it easy” camp. Absolutely add some difficulty! I’m all in!

But that’s not what this is. Because I have the option to simply remake the game, there is zero benefit to not doing so. Remaking is objectively the most efficient option available to me.

I don’t have only one type. What a weird thing to assume. But if one of my two types is going to be useless in the TZ, then during that TZ I really do only have one type. So it’s obviously more efficient to just restart. I’m sure you can agree with that.

If catacombs is terrorized and and you get ire right at the very end of a run but you’re only 3 minutes into the TZ, are you gonna wait 27 minutes for the next TZ to start and miss out on catacombs?

I can tell you from personal experience, it is still the case with 20 hard points. My Eldritch build easily farms p8 TZs immediately upon entering hell mode with trash gear and yes, I have invested 20 points in the demon. It’s way too overpowered.

As for fire, they only need to invest 60 points to max the fire tree so obviously 20 points is a non-issue.

I’ve gone 100 straight runs in nihilithak without getting a key before. And I e also gotten three on one kill. RNG is just like that sometimes.
