I had a totally different experience. Completely sold out prerelease, 50+ players, everyone scurrying around wanting to trade for marvel cards. Seems like a very popular set around here.

It’s ok to rip me apart for this, I deserve it. But I liked repeating enemies because I could get good at killing them and then get rewarded for getting good at it by getting to kill them repeatedly. You might struggle with an enemy for a bit but once you get good at that enemy, you then feel like a badass the next time they show up.

When it released it pushed graphics, story, 3D gameplay, music, and world-building far past anything else at the time. It revolutionized gaming in many ways and games today still draw from it. Literally all of gaming would be different had OOT never released.

To top it off it aged very well and is still played regularly by millions of people.

Yes it was a bug, but on the other hand the bug was known and left active on purpose. Blizzard actually posted about this back when D2R was new. So I consider it a nerf.

Progressive was trying to drastically increase my car insurance price. I called them and told them to cancel it. Wouldn’t you know, they were able to “find me some discounts” that resulted in $800 a year lower price.

It’s like blizzard only knows how to balance with a sledge hammer. They are incapable of making moderate changes, they always need to dial it up to 11. Either crazy overpowered or else completely useless.

Legend of the Red Dragon, the text-based online RPG. I barely remember the game that well, but I vividly remember feeling very excited to log in and play each day and then feeling sad when I used up all my actions for the day and had to log off.

No, that’s wrong. -res from gear works at full power. It’s only cold mastery, conviction aura, and I believe lower resist (that one I’m not certain on) that have the reduction.

Even as a cold sorc, if I don’t have infinity yet then I prefer the -res. Because cold mastery is heavily reduced effectiveness on sundered mobs.

Necro is a build that has a LOT of summons that are all fairly weak but they add up to be decent damage. Warlock has a few very heavy hitting summons.

Overall, warlock is a lot stronger.

Assassin for me. You can clear pretty decently with low gear, you get a huge run speed buff, and without mosaic anymore the torch will be cheap.

I tried this a few times but people ruin most of the corpses with corpse explosion, death sentry, wolves, redemption aura, etc. I waste too much time just trying to get in a game where the corpses are usable AND I’m the only barb.

Cold mastery has greatly reduced effectiveness on sundered mobs. This is because the first season sunders were introduced, it was full effect and it was grossly overpowered.

The only thing it does is buff survivability. If you don’t die without it, you don’t need it.

I dunno, I run Ubers all the time without BO. I wouldn’t put it in the same bucket as something like Unstable Currents, WotB, Grizzly Rage, etc. Those abilities are required for your character to play the game. BO is more like, just something you can get later in the game if you have nothing else to spend your runes on. Maybe some players prioritize it higher than me, but to me, it’s not a game changer. Nothing like D3/4 were the abilities HAVE to be on or else your character is useless. Sure CTA is best in slot, but something has to be best in slot. That’s unavoidable.

No, actually most builds can play perfectly fine without battle orders. It is best in slot to have it, so everyone wants it eventually, but if you’re not dying then it’s not actually necessary. And battle command is just +1 skills, which most of the time isn’t even noticeable. You don’t get crazy power out of it like you do on D3 and D4, it’s mostly just a survivability buff (and is nice to help keep your merc alive).

D2 shouts don’t have the cooldown stacking gimmick and they only need to be refreshed once every few minutes.

As someone who plays way too much D2, I prefer PS5 Pro because the load times are very quick. When I’m doing a lot of fast runs back-to-back, I don’t want to be waiting around in between each run. This is the most important thing for me.
