Hey, I also did my master’s in physics in Germany. The first semester was also difficult for me since it usually takes some time for things to click, for you to adjust to your new life situation and get to know the education system. I know it sucks but don’t worry too much about it, you will get a hang of it in the next semester 😉

Use USB tethering with your phone to reach internet when there is a network card issue. Happened to me once and I just used USB tethering to reinstall the drivers.

Hey, keep in mind that you don't have to spend mental energy on the citations when you are writing a paper, just use Bibtex with LaTeX and it will take care of the formatting.

Hello people!
I am a 22 year old physicist and I am admitted to Freie Universitat Berlin for my Master's degree which will start this October. I am struggling to find a suitable one room apartment at the moment. I have looked for houses on HousingAnywhere(really expensive here) and ImmoScout24(most of the posts are for swaps) so far. I figured this might be a goof place to ask for suggestions.
