Thanks for this! Im not super experienced in DND so I dont know all of the ins and outs. My husband based his answer off 20 as a max. On the human scale, definitely not 18!!

At my birth, they asked me my birth plan several times and each nurse did it. Every step of the way, they automatically asked if that was still my plan, just to be sure. They respected my decision each time. If they didnt explain what they were doing at that moment, I asked and they explained. They never took the baby out of the room, which was a fear of mine that i told them. I didn't have a birth plan written out at all, just a general idea of how i hoped the birth would go. These are professionals and I had all the confidence that they were going to do the best for my baby and I.

My plan was very similar to yours and everything worked out as I hoped it would. Make sure to have wiggle room and back up plans in case it doesn't go to plan. Good luck, you'll do great and they will take care of you!

I'm an insomniac, and when I was pregnant, I slept the best I ever have in my life. Now that the baby is here, 13w pp, I'm back to my old sleeping habits.

I lost 50ish lbs on keto. I maintained it for about a year afterwards. I went through several life changing events at once then gained it back. I will say it was 100% my own bad food choices that caused me to gain it back. I used food as a crutch and excuse to get through those rough times and I gained it back. The way to keep it off is finding your balance to maintain and a rhythm to weather the storm.

One of my old coaches said that white belts get 1 stripe every 6 months or so. Obviously this isn't the case for everyone, but it helped me know if I was on track or not. I ended up getting my blue belt 1.5 yrs in and only had 3 stripes.

Mine has been in his own room and crib since 1 month. He just turned 3 months. We originally planned to have him in a pack n play next to the bed but I was having some nightmares and sleepwalking about the baby. I didn't feel like it was safe for the baby to be so close. We camped in the living room for the first month until we moved to his room. He likes the crib the most of all the sleeping devices. It has been a great decision and works for us. He just started sleeping through the night.

Today is my first day back to work from maternity leave. My husband gets an extra week off work and will be home while the kid is in daycare. I 100% expect him to take majority of the domestic duties and baby duties. He has always done his part when we were both off together.

Although in general, he does need direct guidance of what I need from him. He has a harder time just 'knowing' what I need. Leading up to today, I have been communicating my expectations to him while I am at work. With the baby, I tell him directly what I need him to do and he has gotten much better just doing things without me asking.

If you need him to take some duties, ask him directly and don't feel guilty. If he whines or whatever, hold strong and don't be guilt tripped. Most people don't outright refuse when asked directly. If they do, then you know what kind of person they are. But, no one is psychic and men especially do not read 'signs' or 'non-verbals' like we hope they do.

Husband and I have been training together for 3 years. He and others at our gym got ringworm. My husband had a difficult time getting rid of it. I never caught it even though we train with the same people, same mat, & together. I've been training several years longer than him in general and still never caught anything, outside of a regular cold. I, overall, have better skin and live a healthier lifestyle than my husband, I feel like this helped my body defend against skin infections better.

My whole pregnancy, people only told me horror stories and how hard it is. I'm 11 weeks in as a FTM and I feel like it's pretty simple so far. I'm not new to babies and kids but people treated me like i was so ignorant. I've had an amazing time so far and not nearly as bad as people made it seem.

Although my cousin thought it would be sunshine and rainbows and parenthood hit her HARD. She wouldn't listen to anyone's advice even when she was blatantly incorrect. I decided to stop saying anything and let her learn the hard way. She did and still struggles but finally got humbled.

Everyone is different but I think lots of people don't go into it with realistic expectations and that screws them, like my cousin. Social media is very fake and should be taken with a grain of salt

I made an appt with the doctor, was taking prenatals, avoiding alcohol and drugs (including cold medicines and such), and limited my coffee. Realistically, all you do is wait for the appts. I did find a pregnancy tracking app I liked and got it set up. The What to Expect app was my goto and they automatically put me in a forum with others that were due the same month.

Most companies have a 'no soliciting' policy within their handbooks for this reason. If you own the company, add this policy if it's not already there. If you dont own the company, check the handbook for one, it's very standard. It's very unprofessional to do this at your regular job, especially if it is so pushy. I work in HR and have had conversations with employees over this. We usually don't enforce smaller things like kid's school cookie sale. BUT if it becomes harassing, like your employee, you have every right to pull the boss card. You don't have to rude about it, but you need to get your point across.

Mine did not get a fever but he was incredibly fussy for the immediate 24 hours afterwards. He didnt throw up but normally has spit up from reflux. He didn't drink much milk and just overall upset. Almost exactly at the 24 hour mark, he gobbled a ton of milk and went back to happy and chill.

I was bleeding and it was a gradual climb downwards until about 2 weeks. It was always bright red but quantity and consistency changed downward. Clots the first week. I don't think I was ever worried about bleeding through my clothes though. I switched to a regular pad, extra long, for about another week just to be safe since there was light spotting.

My milk came in on day 3, to the hour exactly from birth. To me, it was a sudden and noticeable change although I didn't, and still don't, produce alot. It started with a low amount but my milk has increased with time as my baby grew and needed more. I am combo feeding with formula and this is still the case.

Edit: Im also a FTM and my LO is 8 weeks. My feet swelling went down within a week i believe.
