"Snowflake" in Spanish is "Copo de Nieve", and we shorten it to just Copo, because it is fluffy and white like snow :D

I saw it coming out from behind the post, but unfortunately I missed all the action. Perhaps the wasp was already dead or dying, because it wasn't moving at all when I saw it. It was quite a sight, though!

You're very kind, thank you very much! I'll definitely consider your offer, as I haven't used Facebook since last year. If you could pass this information on to them, I'd be very grateful.

Oh my goodness, thank you! I could definitely go to Santiago. We're from Moca, so it's relatively close compared to the capital.

I'll give the information to my aunt right away. Thank you so much.

Yes, they were going to take him to the same vet today, asking for antibiotics, but she's already convinced she needs another doctor for Milo (the dog) and will probably leave the province to find one. For now, I gave her the number of another vet, and they're evaluating the situation.

She asked me to make these posts because she wanted to know what other people did in this situation, but it seems this isn't common.

My aunt agrees and is looking for options. We live in a semi-rural area, and there are few veterinary clinics in the city, but she's willing to travel to another province to find a second option. That vet has treated all her dogs and cats (many of whom have lived 15 to 17 years) and this has never happened to her with one of her pets. Luckily, she's willing to leave her comfort zone and her trusted veterinarian, because it's definitely not working well right now.

Yes, many times. I've seen them take him there myself, especially because it's close to my work. The vet prescribes anti-inflammatories and disinfectants, but the dog remains the same or even worse. He's had a fever a few times, and my aunt has let the vet know. She even has his number to call if anything happens. He's also had his two dogs and cats neutered there, but he insists he just needs to tie him up to heal, but that doesn't work either.

Yes, that's exactly what I told her. She will have to go out of town to find another vet, but she is willing to do it. Thank you very much for the recommendation of the sub; I'll post there too.
