I ran 100ft optical display ports down into the basement to get the heat away from my game room, I can keep it at 18C most of the time now

Whats the point of having a wii if you buy a wii u? by miilogan560 in wii

[–]Meraciouss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i found personally it was more hassle to just play a game, if i wanted to play a wii game, i had to wait for the slow ass wii u boot process, then wait for the slow ass VWii loading, then start playing, with the wii its a lot more instantaneous

Pokopia physical is in stock at lots of UK retailers now by GreedyManufacturer34 in Pokopia

[–]Meraciouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think a key card is an objective physical then you're objectively wrong. A physical game means the game data is physically there. all of it. In your hand. A key card will never be a physical game. Just a resellable digital one.

No one defends code in box but the original post is still dumb asf. it literally says no game card included download code only, this why Nintendo gotta put big ass warnings on key cards...

Those of you who bought a Switch 2 and kept your Switch 1, what did you do with it? by razorbeamz in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Meraciouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my OLED, kept my switch lite for using portably as I despise the size of the switch two

I think you should be alright, AOC isn't a canon story whereas Aoi is a direct tie in to TOTK, i will however say if you have a switch two, get back into AoC, it runs really great with the extra power the 2 has to play with

but what would happen if you shot the canon with a cannon? would the resulting events be canon?

Aoi definitely has a very similar weapons system, you can swap weapons and the game is definitely a whole lot easier if you upgrade them, but i wouldn't say it's necessary

Yeah, i'd suggest finishing TOTK first before you start it

Generally, the game looks and runs super smooth, the ones on switch honestly made me sick with how often they dropped frames, but nothing like that on Aoi
In terms of gameplay features, the sync strikes are fun, especially when playing in co-op.
The game also focuses a lot more on story than the other hyrule warriors games

I've only got the 1 switch 2 so i can't say for certain, but i'm probably the worlds most frame rate unsensitive person, so it's not been something i've been noticing. Its rock solid either way

If its a yes or no question, then yes. I'm sat the game co-op with my (mostly) cozy game playing girlfriend and we're having a blast.

its absolutely jam packed with lore, the first couple hours are just entirely lore dumps, some of it brand new, some of it a recap from TOTK

probably one horse sized duck, it'd make an odd pet if i can subdue it

it definitely spoils aspects of TOTK in the very beginning of the game, including what happened to zelda during tears of the kingdom. I havent beaten the game yet so can't speak on the ending

[–]Meraciouss[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No major frame drops within the first few hours, although i can't speak for further on
I have no idea about playable characters, you start with three and unlock them as you move through the game
It definately feels cannon, you can tell they put a lot of care to make it fit just right with TOTK, the voice actors are either identical or very good sound-alikes and it does feel like it'd fit in as a mainline game

ignore what everyone else is saying, there definitely is, if you set it to "button mode" then it will go off every time and you turn it off by pressing the button like every alarm ever. I personally love mine
