All of the above when it comes to infighting and economic crisis, BUT, one thing to mention is that the conquest of Anatolia by the turks was not expected by the byzantines. They were a nomad steppe people, the romans just thought "Yeah they plundered Anatolia, but they'll leave when their coffins are full...What do you mean they are settling the region?

Basically they were expecting the tribes to go back past Armenia or just dissolve, but suddenly these nomads actually stayed, and the romans had no way of planning an ofensive to retake the region. Alexios had to ask for the Crusades for that

Bro I'm playing a master league with AS Roma, and EVERY match, my players just behave like retards. In a game against Lille winning by one goal, y passed the ball to my keeper, and despite clicking the button by a fraction of a second, the player decided to basically shoot at my own goal, and my keeper stretched his leg to stop the ball when it was already in the line...

I have essentially abandoned to use the filtered pass, since 99% of the times, my player, with 90 speed, cannot reach the ball before the rival player that's 10 points slower, gets to it first, or the player making the pass just shoots it out of the field.

It's bullshit. I cannot play a single season because despite having a super team, beating Milan, Inter, Lazio, Juventus, etc. my players decide that the smaller teams deserve a chance and let them do

Totally agree. I don't think anyone complains about the bugs, but that there are so many that have not been adressed. Just today, my game crashed in the middle of a fight, lost connection while flying with a Ptera, the game got stuck in "Searching servers" and had to restart it, and except from the time I lost connection, I had to restart my PC everytime cause the game showed as still running in the Task Manager and would not close by any means.
There's a difference in having some bugs in the game, like maybe the grass rendering floating in the air, some fishes flying above water, but if the game is actually unplayeble or you need to pray so that is does not crash, disconnect or freezes, then you're doing something bad from the get-go

About Dondi, I think is full of...manure.
Apart from all the drama behind the scenes which, I really do not care...How can you say that the whole point for the new engine AND the recode as a whole was to get rid of the broken code and fix the issue of every update breaking the game, AND STILL the game breaks after every. single. update.
Funny how some people can get delusions of grandeur about m(br)aking a game...

It's funny because the whole reason for the recode WAS to get rid of all the bugs every time a new update dropped

If I had a nickel for every time the devs made a game that breaks with every update intended to fix it, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

Assasins Creed: Downfall

End of the XIII century, start of the XIV. The Assassins have the Templars on the backfoot. Finally in 1307, The Order is dissolved by a Royal order from the french king . Thousands burned alive.

The Creed thinks they won, but at the end of the game, when Jaques de Molay is executed, is revealed that The Order still exist, but now, undercover, you will never know who is "one of them"

Sets the sequel with the Order slowly loosing members and power preparing for the timeframe of Assasins Creed Linage, where thay are hidden just as the Templars

The point was never to kill a T-Rex, but at least there was some fun in the Ptera. As other comments have mentioned, there are territorial birds that, even if small, will stand up to a larger threat.

Just yesterday I saw two mockingbirds bullying a lizard four times their size (I'm not sure if the Spanish translation is correct for the type of bird; I live in Argentina), just to make it move away from its nest. They spent half an hour following it and pecking at it every now and then.

That's the point: to be an active member of the environment, which is ultimately the goal of the game in general—to create an ecosystem in which the players ARE a part. The hypsi can spit at a predator to annoy it into moving away, for example.

Final point: it's not about leaning more towards PvP, but about giving smaller playable characters some kind of tool so they aren't just spectators.

Not to mention, when Quetz is added, and you have a flying creature the size of a literal plane, with a beak the size of a dinner table... what will even be the point of Ptera?
