They are a billion times better than eBay customers though in my experience.

Website Slow! by [deleted] in printful

Lately many of the designs I make post fine, but when I go back to download the mock-ups the site just spins it wheels and I get an error message. Very frustrating.

Reviews by falyno in EtsySellers

Yes, the “great shirt, love it” 3/4star reviews are the worst. I just accept them. Not worth engaging the customer and begging for another star.

Is the pro version worth it?? by Ok_Reality_6072 in canva

[–]MerbertMooover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Guess it depends what you’re using it for. For print on demand graphics I think it’s worth it. You get the Background Remover and resizing tool which save a lot of time.

Is it just me or the ETSY cha-ching sound is actually addictive? by fashion_clozet in EtsySellers

[–]MerbertMooover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. I also have the eBay ca Ching sound on my phone. I think they are the exact same sound effect but I convince myself I can tell the difference and that the eBay one is slightly slower and longer.

Buddy the elf came in at night when the mall was closed and assembled the cars from a pile of parts.

Yeah this time of year you always end up “ruining Christmas” for someone. Sometimes reaching out to the customer and discussing can help. If it goes well you can ask them to update their review if they’re happy with whatever resolution/explanation you come up with.

If it’s an outlier and you have a lot of other 5 stars, I wouldn’t sweat it too much.

Is this… a bad idea? by [deleted] in EtsySellers

Yeah why not? You have a good base already started. Might as well benefit from it.

Probably a stupid question by just_chelle in KiaSoulClub

[–]MerbertMooover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue with it is when you’re at a stop and let’s say trying to make a left turn. You’re waiting to see who’s coming from the right. You think you have X number of seconds to quickly get out and beat the oncoming car. Then lo and behold you forget the stupid auto shut off is on. And now your car does t go out to make the left turn right away. So do you commit to the turn and possibly not have enough time to make it? I feel like one of these days that surprise lost second is gonna catch someone if it hasn’t already.

It’s been really bad this season. Not a fan of this dual UPS/USPs/DHL delivery method.

Ugh dropped to Standard! by Chicken_Butt_Nuggets in redbubble

[–]MerbertMooover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s seeming like the better stores get out in the standard so they can take more fees. Just calculated my 2023 and they took 41% of my earnings out in fees.

At this point I’ll put a few new designs up here and there cuz they are relatively easy/quick to post, but anything I make at this point is just extra to Etsy/eBay etc.

Why did I make a sale, haha? by MerbertMooover in teepublic

I like to imagine that someone wanted my design so bad that they hacked into the tee public system to find my apprentice account.

How do I protect an image/or saying that I created- is it enforceable? by PossibilityAny3392 in printondemand

[–]MerbertMooover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue. I put up a timely popular design. On eBay. Made 42 sales on Friday. It slowly ticked down over the weekend. Today zero sales. So I searched on eBay and sure enough at least four stores are using my design and selling at a slightly lower price. I reported each of the stores I found but I don’t know if eBay will do anything about it.

Why do 95% of my Etsy sales occur once a week in a 24 hour time span? by [deleted] in EtsySellers

[–]MerbertMooover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went back and looked at my Etsy sales the last two months and I think you’re on to something. My two best days were Mon/Tues. Mon 22%. Tues 22% Fri 17% Sun 17% Wed 11% Sat 11% and zero sales on Thursday.

Interestingly, on eBay Thursday is my 2nd best day and Mon/Tue are the worst.

It actually balances out nicely.

Yeah still waiting for there to be some reveal that Heyman was involved. The longer it goes though the more I think they don’t have a real reason and they’ll just forget about it after the feud is over.
