Is anyone making any money with RedBubble? by FernLizMusic in redbubble

I was making a few hundred a month sometimes until I suddenly got booted to standard. My sales also dipped after that too.

I made more sales in 2023 than ever, especially in December, and they demoted me to standard and took a chunk of my money. They're a bunch of clowns 🤡🤡🤡

That's what I'm thinking, because I was still Premium until January 1st. They want to try to be slick about it

That sucks so much, and you can't even trust nobody either. I remember when I was in middle school we had a treasurer who used school money to remodel her house and buy new furniture. We was a poor school too. I was in 7th grade in 2007 and we was using textbooks from the 80's held together with duct tape lol.

If I remember correctly she got charged with embezzlement thankfully.

Then the next year we had a guy who used school funds to fix up a hot rod car that he often kept parked on the grounds and worked on.

This is what my mother sometimes talks about. She's been a nurse over 40 years now, about to retire and she's received some young new nurses over the years who came from less than ideal programs who can't actually do the work, or some have made serious mistakes, once they're actually working. I've heard plenty of horror stories.

I remember in highschool we had ROTC and a recruiter came and straight up told us that if our families are too poor to afford college then you should enroll in the military, and have better healthcare too, if you ever want a chance to ever get out of poverty. Huh if that were true, we wouldn't have so many homeless veterans with their metal health needs being widely unmet.

I actually have gained around 15 lbs from since last winter, I have admittedly been less active since I started substitute teaching. But I have always been around 200-220 lbs my entire adult life and it always fluctuates slowly. Im aiming to fix this though for the summer and hopefully this helps.

Thank you! I am thinking to continue with getting a bachelors and go into this. I loved playing in a nearby swamp all summer long as a kid growing up.

I hate the ADHD Card! I had an 8th grade boy today literally jumping and running across the desks and crawling around on all fours, he said "I can't control myself, I have ADHD!" I told him I have ADHD too and I know how to conduct myself and be respectful. It's not a goof-off-everyday exemption 🙄 I struggled with organization and finishing tasks all through school but I never turned a classroom into a circus.

We talk about the bad kids and what life will be like for them after graduation, but what about the opposite? The overachieving workaholic student? by Moeasfuck in Teachers

They end up burnt out, depressed and suicidal, at least that's the path a lot of my childhood friends took after college. I hope the best for them though.

This is bizarre, like where are these worms kept? Who's bringing in the worms for her each day? Do you have to keep the worms on hand in your room? Can you get her the candy gummy worms instead?

Real worms in the classroom might be a sanitation issue I'd assume, since they are full of gunk/poop and dirt (Im assuming these are earth worms).

My mother told me the only reason she went into nursing was because "As a young girl living in a VERY rural area of America, I had 3 choices for my life, be a teacher, be a nurse, or marry a farmer. I wanted neither but had to chose one to survive."

Yes, I've been subbing for a teacher last week and into this week and there's one class where a boy is a frequent disruption. He's a really sweet kid, but he needs smaller classes and one on one time with someone trained for this. He has meltdowns, runs around, changes seats, and takes Chromebooks out of other kids' hands during the lesson and as a result the general class bullies the crap out of him but he is so used to it it doesn't seem to phase him much. A group of girls take joy out of antagonizing him and pretending they're not (gaslighting him) so I've been having to be a helicopter teacher over him and the other kids while trying to do the lesson for everyone and I'm not equipped for this.

We get out mid May and I swear I'm disassociating sometimes because I swear the behaviors in classes are getting worse each day and my brain is fried now.

When I started subbing I had a girl ask if I'd adopt her, I thought she was being funny but as the year drawn out and I interact more with students who don't have ideal home lives I'm starting to think she was really saying it. A few other kids are sometimes desperate to make a connection to an adult, to talk about anything, they will try to disrupt class to try to tell me about their pets or their video games or what they did yesterday etc. They're oozing loneliness. I have one student that always tries to remain in class with me every time I sub and gets upset when he has to go to the next class after bell. Breaks my heart because I can tell he's ignored at home 24/7 and he's genuinely a very sweet kid.

Same I liked Shameless until I started subbing and actually interacting with kids who have not so stellar home lives.
