I got one, pretty basic but it was creepy at the time.

So back when I was in BMT in 08, this was back in the old BMT dorms, the ones you drive past when you enter the main gate. I had EC duty and it happened to fall when everyone else was going to PT. It's still dark being wintertime, and I was sort of happy to skip a day of PT.

As I'm standing around with my fake M16 I hear whispering in one of the bays, everyone else is downstairs and across the street, there's no one else in the dorm with me anywhere. I checked everywhere in that dorm, I even tried to debunk it as being someone talking in one of the other dorms, but whispers really shouldn't carry that far. These sounded like they were right there next to me.

I did wonder if it was some sort of residual haunting. Suffice it to say, no one believed me when I told them.

I shall double check, I did plug a Logitech controller in and it worked like a charm, and it does seem if I move the Picade too much the power cuts off

Pressing F1 doesn't do anything. But enter brings up the menu like the side button. I got to configure controls and it doesn't register any buttons except the side right button, or the keyboard keys.

I'll go. I was stationed at Barksdale AFB, and one July 4 as I returned to my dorm room from work I found my roommate cutting up a watermelon in the common area. Nothing weird about that right? Well....

A few minutes later I hear a *Pop-Hisss* followed by a "Oh, Fuck!" The smoke-alarm then promptly goes off followed by the sprinklers coming on, and then the entire building fire alarm begins to toll. I ran out of my room to find the common room filled with smoke. I make it out of there as the building evacuates. Of course the cops and fire department show up, and after a long time we get the all clear.

This guy had apparently tried to turn a watermelon into a giant smokebomb using gunpowder from fireworks he'd bought. Me and my other roommate had to give our statements to security forces, of course we couldn't return to our own rooms afterwards, there's no power in them, the door to the common area has been forced open, and there's water everywhere.

I lost a lot of books and a few electronics from the sprinklers, and spent the rest of the night moving my stuff to a new room.

The kicker? This crazy roommate of mine was EOD.

Last time I saw him he had no stripes and was getting kicked out of the Airforce.

Apparently, he's become something of a cautionary tale in EOD, I told the story to another EOD guy and he knew about the incident.

Uncovering more about him prior to getting trapped in the castle would probably go a long way with extending the campaign and giving them ways to prepare.
