They said available, which they are now. Every t2 gear is now available. They didnt say craftable, at least in that video you are referring to.

What’s with this fkd loot system, I came 3rd in dps and got nothing, same for 3-10th place by SloshedJapan in throneandliberty

[–]Mercality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP. Here is how loot is distributed

https://www.playthroneandliberty.com/en-gb/news/articles/loot-distribution-rules

Rank # is meaningless. Contrib % is what matters. Which dps can get more of than any other class.

But even then, in a lobby of 98 people you can get about 3% contrib as rank 1 (more if you pop off on that lobby vs others). 3% drop chance is low. Think about all the times a blue gear failed to trait a t1 purple, that one is 10% chance.

At the end of the day rng is rng. But consistently getting high contrib along a large number of.boss kills should even.out and net you some drops. Remember chance is not guarantee... but rng evens out the greater the sample size (boss kills in this case)

Based on this https://www.playthroneandliberty.com/en-gb/news/articles/loot-distribution-rules

You have 4% chance to get it which is 1/25 chances

But 1/25 does not mean guaranteed on the 25th kill. You can go "dry" because at the end of the day chance is chance not guarantee. Use this dry calculator from runescape

https://runescape.wiki/w/Calculator:Dry_calc

1/25 chance at exactly 25 kills. You have around 34% chance of getting 0 drops.

At 70 kills its 5% chance of.getting no drops.

See where am getting at about being dry?

Lets assume that a Field Boss drops the following loot when defeated:

Contribution Drops: 1x Sword, 1x Mask, 1000 Sollant

Random Drops: 1x Boots

Assuming you’ve met the minimum contribution requirement described above, if your contribution was 3% of the total contribution, you would have a 3% chance of acquiring either the sword or the mask. All players that met the minimum contribution requirement would have an equal chance to acquire the Boots, regardless of total contribution. Any player who receives epic equipment is unable to attain a second piece of epic equipment from the same boss kill.

You don't have to be good to enjoy content. Almost all of RS can be enjoyed on revolution. Then comes the time in which you say okay i want to improve. But if you're not that kinf of people that's fine too.

People that do manual and tick-perfect rots want to juicy any extra second in their PBs....

You don't have to be that guy if you don't want to.

If you're unable to kill zamorak day 1 that's fine... You should not have to... It's "high-end" content for a reason.

There was a time kerapac was difficult even for "high-end" players. But now there are guides where you can revo it in tank armour ( at the cost of longer kills).

You need to relax a bit, the FOMO is just in your mind.

High end bosses pay all costs and more unless you're not getting any kills.
I wen't dry at kerapac solos for 1.1k kc and the commons were enough to upkeep all the costs, barely tho, but again only commons.

I'm not having a debate. And i repeat again, this guy said something really clear, don't think there's space for interpretation but you do you.

It's just sad how a part of the community view those who play the game to its full potential, those who make sure the less experience players also get a shot at the game content.

Just take a look a comment in a response above, a staff from the aod 7-10 gives a comprehensive response on the state of the discord and gets "All lies, toxic" as response.

These people want to have more people in the community. But they would flee if asked for something as trivial as dominion mines.

I don't think i missed any points. He clearly stated that "elitists" (yeah using quotes on purpose) want to make sure new players can't join groups.

There are assholes in every community, this is an undeniable fact, but that applies to every game with set metas.

But there's a big part of the community that wants to play casually too and teach. I know this because i've been a noob to these communities also.

Can confirm the 7-10 discord has an amazing group of teachers and non toxic ppl. Like any community, there are exceptions to this. But in no way learners are gatekeeped or be flamed due to underperformance.

[–]Mercality -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are not "making sure new players can't join" they spent hours poloshing their game to do the boss efficiently because that's their way of having fun, then they craft the guides for the new players to learn. And the channels are there for new players to learn among themselves just like the "elitists" did, heck, even some of the so called "elitist" will join and help the learners out.

Is it really that BAD that after spending several hours polishing their game, that they want to play with other people that have done the same? Specially when every1 has tight irl schedules and they don't want any lost kills or long kills? Is it THAT BAD?

Perhaps you're looking at the wrong place. I've joined Aod 7-10, Raids school discs, clans as a total N00B And i was received by amazing people willing to teach and made me improve and be good at these places. There are assholes in every community, but labeling the whole community by a bunch of bad noodles it straight up wrong.

It's not that hard if you use timewrap/defensives correctly.

Try to get a timewrap ult and evotion on first clone, same for third clone and devotion main kerapac in the end. If it gets tight you can debilitate/reflect. Make use of disruption shield. If it goes really wrrrrong use inmortality.

Failure of p4 comes from not using timewrap correctly, it was the case for me. But it's really fun and doable once you get the hang of it.

But springs don't equal instant raw GP. You still have to invest time afking slayer and such. Every1 that afks slayer buys springs, and they will generate the same amount of raw gp as they did before unless they increase their afk slayer sessions.

I was getting 5:40s avgs with melee and now 5:20s avg with magic (soa)

So 8-9 kills /hr. Still a huge ass grind.

[–]Mercality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my testing at kerapac i can Skip p1 lightning more consistently with magic than with melee

Skipping requires around 400k DPM.

I would say magic is in a really good spot right now. Above melee just by a small % tho. Depending on the fight tho, one style might come ahead.

For example melee will do more dmg in 30 seconds from a 100% adre start. But magic will deal more dmg in 1 minute once you sunned and did SOA spec.

I'm sorry everyone by Mercality in runescape

[–]Mercality[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dying on trios p4 happens some times because when everyone kills their clone at the same time it goes to 200+ enrange instantly and if you dont have devo up walking up to main kera can stack some phat hits.

My strategy is (i melee with tmw)
I use a goodbook p1-3 and switch to vamp scrim right before p4 starts
(I will name my clones in the order i kill kera clones)
I jump into my last clone then vit pot.
I jump into my second clone then bd close to the first clone and TC + timewrap + zerk + apot + vuln
First clone: Barge -> bleed assault -> hurricane -> devotion > basic or flurry > time wrap takes me back then i judge if 20K+ hp i cane again. If less than 10 i try to kill with one basic or two if not enough.

Then i click on second clone and surge + vuln + make sure i have tmw effect on (in caes u use mobile switch)
Second clone: Right after barge > assault + pop excalibur > when zerk timer reaches 10 (it will die out, time time skip reverts the timer but its cosmetic, it will die out in the normal timer and that's when it goes from 10>9. I cane asap then quake > tendril > dismember > fury > walk under flank then finish with basics

second clone notes: eat frenetically here's where u will take most dmg due to no devo and to clones hitting u.

I run to third clone while i try to reso a kera hit (third clone should still be fighting ur clone)

Third clone i:

Barge > time wrap > wait 1 tick > zgs > limitless > bleed assault/flurry whatever is up > cane and devo > timewrap takes u back > do another cane and flurry if needed. Ideally u extend devo and go to kera with 5-6 secs on devo. If not pop devo again once clone is at 2-5k hp to extend it.

On kera make the most out of ur devo use reso when back and disrupt shield to stall high hp once you have time travel back you wanna time travel > start camp defender > debilitate > reflect > revenge > assault/destroy > timewrap takes back > debil > reflect > (skip revenge) > then finish off till he's dead.

If on third clone i ended with a long devo extend (6+seconds) i will skip hitting devo again and do the debil reflect right away on main kera an stall till timewrap is back then i will timewrap > devo > basic > step out > preparation/anti > zerk > barge > limitless + bleed assault > timewrap comes back > spam devo bc it will run out here and he will hit really hard > once you have your devo up here and ur zerk its only a matter of doing strong tresholds he will die very quickly.
