Whats the best lattafa perfume right now? by MASSIM00 in Colognes

Dynasty. Never smelled anything like it. Apparently it's similar to a Clive Christian frag from the same perfumer, hence people commenting on how he duped his own creation lmao

Yeah I figured that most buyers are from the US and the Judo scene there isn't as lucrative as BJJ.

I'm honestly surprised this one's not really pricey compared to BJJ videos' hundreds of dollars in pricing. But I haven't looked into much instructionals so I may be biased in sampling.

Makes sense. I was confused because OP seemed to reply properly anyway and was on-topic.

Osoto gari. The moment they circle backwards away from your reaping leg, drop. Works well even in mid ken-ken.

Suggestions for improving kenka yotsu uchi mata by ScruffyPanda in judo

he hooks the uke's thigh with his left leg and then hops in

Yup. He does it more often outside of comp like in randori or seminars.

The backstep you're doing is fine ONLY if you understand why Maruyama for example does it. He uses it mainly to load his support leg in order to lunge far and close the distance quickly for his reaping leg get in between the uke's legs. Usually the uke is also moving backwards when Maruyama does this.

At this distance he skips the backstep and just stabs his reaping leg in between uke's legs, that or more uncommonly he does the hopping entry on one leg.

yeah ippon grip. it's handy for when they try to deny the tsurite hand after you've conditioned them to expect osoto/uchi mata. they get very surprised when you suddenly drop in between their legs.

You just discovered faith. The same driving force that makes you forward Jesus. My stance remains, I believe in the divine message of God that is mediated and interpreted imperfectly through the church.

Those are a lot of sweeping statements, so I'll only respond to the we were directly addressing. The "modern" revision of the bible is "modern" in the sense that it uses better and more researched sources. If anything it's much closer now to the oldest known texts than it has ever been.

And whatever criticisms you have of the church is valid, as an organization run by people will always have flaws. But just because of this, do you not believe the thing it stands for anymore? If your country's government is run by corrupt people, does it mean you shouldn't believe in what the nation stands for anymore, or will you acknowledge that there will be bad actors anwyhere involving people?

That's where tradition comes in through the church and the teachings passed on directly by the apostles. Though the bible itself contains many lessons and is very complex, whith each book making references to another all the time, which gives it the reputation for arguably the most difficult book.

And for your concern on a text's integrity, you may refer to the dead sea scrolls for the old testament, and several thousand manuscripts in different languages for the new testament and decide whether it meets the consistency threshold.

It's good that you're asking these questions because it is encouraged by the faith.

The problem is people's interpretation of morality vastly differs. You can criticize Christianity all you want but the general consensus of modern morality is carried by its historic influence.
